Selous Game Reserve was named after a very famous Hunter explorer Fredrick Countenary Selous. With an area of 45,000 sq km which makes it to be the largest uninhabited protected area in Africa. Large herds of Elephants, Buffalo, Impala, Nyasaland Wildebeest Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Crocodiles, Lions are sighted most of the time.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Fly from Dar es Salaam to the Selous. On arrival you will be picked up by the camp vehicle and transferred to the camp. Dinner and overnight Rufiji River Camp or Selous Safari Camp.

Day 2: Today will be a full day to view game. The activities available in camp are game drives, game walks or a boat trip. Dinner and overnight Rufiji River Camp or Selous Safari Camp.

Day 3: Full day in the Selous with various activities available. Dinner and overnight Rufiji River Camp or Selous Safari Camp.

Day 4: After breakfast you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your schedule flight to Dar es Salaam.
