This is one of our new biking itineraries from mainland China to Amdo Labrang Monastery via Qinghai Kokonar Lake (Blue Lake), biking to Mt. Maqen Kangri (The holest mountain in the Amdo area), and then driving to Lhasa.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Fly from Austira to Beijing or Chengdu. Local agent will warmly receive you at Beijing International airport and continue to take flight.

Day 2: Afternoon take another flight to Lanzhou. Arrival in Beijing, in the afternoon flight to Lanzhou. O/H Shangbala H

Day 3: Drive to Labrang county. Car transfer Labrang (280 km, 6 hours). O/H Pushon Hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing. In the morning visit Labrang monastery. Then Car transfer to Tongren (120 km, 3 hours). O/H Tongren Hotel.

Day 5: Drive to Tongrenand Kubum Monastery. Car transfer from Tongren/Kumbum (230 km, 4 hours) after visit then to Xining (30 km 1 hour). O/H Zhong Fa Yuan Hotel.

Day 6: Drive to Dawu. Car transfer to Xiadawu and prepare the Yaks and trekking facilies day.

Day 7: Start trek. Circumulation Amnye Machen, day 1 O/H Camp.

Day 8: Trek. Circumulation Amnye Machen, day 2 O/H Camp.

Day 9: Trek. Circumulation Amnye Machen, day 3 O/H Camp.

Day 10: Trek. Circumulation Amnye Machen, day 4 O/H Camp.

Day 19: Drive to Peomi. Car transfer to Peomi (217 km, 4 hrs).

Day 20: Drive to Bayi. Car transfer to Bayi (255 km, 4 hrs).

Day 21: Drive to Lhasa. Car transfer, arrival in Lhasa via Pasumtso Lake (496 km, 7 hrs).

Day 22: Sightseeing. Visit Jokhang Temple, Bakhor Street.

Day 23: Sightseeing. Visit Potala, Sera Monastery.

Day 24: Sightseeing. Visit Drepung Monastery, Summer Palace (Norbulingka).

Day 25: Drive to airport. Flight Lhasa - Hongkong.
