Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Port Elizabeth-Graaff-Reinet (Thursday). Travel via Janseville to Graaff-Rienet, the oldest town in the Eastern Cape Region, with many beautifully restored historical buildings lining the streets. Explore Graaff-Reinet’s many attractions on foot. View the famous jointed dolerite pillars at the Valley of Desolation, with magnificent views of the town and surrounding countryside. Overnight in Graaff-Rienet area. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Graaff-Reinet-Cradock (Friday). Travel to Nieu Bethesda, a tiny village tucked away in a valley. Visit the extraordinary Owl House’ Of Helen Martins, one of South Africa’s most famous examples of "visionary art" (Art Brut). Visit a local farm and view San ("Bushmen") paintings, wool shed, and museum containing fossils found on the farm. Enjoy a typical farm lunch. Continue to the Mountain Zebra Park, the cradle of mountain zebra conservation in Africa. Overnight in Cradock area. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Cradock-Grahamstown (Saturday). After breakfast continue to Grahamstown. The city’s pride is its cultural heritage and great care has been taken in preserving its numerous historical buildings. Visit Settlers Monument, Cathedral of St. Michael and St. George, Commemoration Church, Observatory museum, Albany Museum and Rhodes University Campus. Overnight in Grahamstown area. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 4: Grahamstown-Port Elizabeth (Sunday). Travel to evergreen Sundays River Valley, and the famous Addo Elephant Park, home to the densest elephant population on earth. Spend the afternoon enjoying the varied wildlife. Tour ends in Port Elizabeth in the late afternoon. Includes: (B).

Note: Passengers may be dropped-off at Port Elizabeth Airport.
