Food On Foot Tours takes visitors to the largest buffet in the world, New York City. You see the neighborhoods where New Yorkers live and eat. You’ll share our passion for all things New York and you’ll travel the way New Yorkers do, by subway and foot.
On a Food On Foot tour you might be from one of many countries all in the same day. Travel the world within New York’s five boroughs. You’ll be guided by folks with an unbelievable passion for food and the greatest city in the world. As our guest in our hometown we’ll do the exact same thing we’ve been doing with family and friends for years, we’ll take you to places you might not find on your own. We’ll help you create memories to last a lifetime. We incorporate great food on foot stops during your visit so you can experience real New York food no matter what your itinerary. Put on your walking shoes, grab your Metro Card and bring some extra napkins– it's time to eat.
Visit the great neighborhoods by the Brooklyn Bridge, visit downtown Brooklyn and see the great views of Manhattan and NY Harbor and tour the New York City Transit Museum. Tour participants are advised to have an unlimited or daily fun pass Metrocard transit pass (available at all subway stations) and bottled water. Tour stops at multiple low cost locations and participants may purchase the items of their choice from a wide variety of options. Family and friends often share to sample as many items as possible. Sharing is at the sole discretion of individual tour participants.
Tour meets at Penn Station Thursdays at 10:30am. Reservations required. Allow 4 hours. Hotel pickups for groups of 16 or more. Add $5 for Transit Museum admission.
