Day 1: Met at Kilimanjaro Airport by your driver guide and you will be transferred to Marangu Hotel for your accommodation. Please look out for the board with your name on it. This beautifully situated hotel, on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, stands in twelve acres of mature, well laid out gardens. It has a fine variety of exotic trees and flowering shrubs. From the gardens there are magnificent views to be had of Kilimanjaro, with its larger peaks of ice-capped Kibo and rocky Mawenzi. The oldest peak on the mountain, Shira, is much smaller and heavily eroded. Its remains are best viewed when climbing via the Machame route. Accommodation: Marangu Hotel. Meal Plan: Full Board Basis. Day 2: After early breakfast departs day trip hiking – Marangu Route, transfer up to Marangu gate (1800m) which also the headquarters of Kilimanjaro National Park Departs with packed lunch and rain coats (as it may rain at time) with your qualified guide after register and walk to dens tropical forest for four hours to reach Mandara Huts (2727m). Short break then processed to the border of the forest and visit Maundi Crater which us a satellite cone and also moorland to have superb view of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Accommodation: Mandara Hut. Meal Plan: Full Board Basis. Day 3: Breakfast and thereafter start descend down to the gate, where you will be met and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight. Notes:
