Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa. Over night- Hotel
Day 2: Drive from Addis to Awash National Park for game viewing to see mammals & birds. Over night - Hotel
Day 3: Drive from Awash to Semera. Visit the Afar tribal village. Over night- Hotel or Guest House.
Day 4: Drive from Semera to Lake Afdera. O/N - Camping.
Day 5: Drive from Afdera to Dodom and start to walking to Erta’ale. Over night - Camping.
Day 6: Trek back to Dodom. Over night - camping.
Day 7: Drive from Dodom to Ahmed Ela. Over night - camping.
Day 8: Drive to Lake Asale and to Dallol (116 meter below sea level, one of the lowest places in the world) and back to Ahmed Ela. Over night- Camping.
Day 9: Drive to Mekele through the town of Berhile. Overnight - Camping.
Day 10: Drive to Kombolcha, on the way visit the monastery of Haik Stifanos which is set up in the 15th century on Lake Haik . Over night Kombolcha in a hotel.
Day 11: Drive to Addis Ababa, through the magnificent sites of Tarmaber.
