Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kilimanjaro-Tarangire
Our guide will pick you up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer you to Tarangire National Park. The fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. The Tarangire River has shrivelled to a shadow of its wet season self. But it is choked with wildlife. Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of parched kilometres knowing that here, always, there is water. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa or similar.
Day 2: Tarangire-Ngorongoro
Enjoy your early morning game drive at Tarangire National Park. Depart after breakfast to Ngorongoro Crater. Full board accommodation is included in the tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa or similar.
Day 3: Ngorongoro
Depart with your picnic lunch boxes for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is nearly three million years old. The ancient caldera of the extinct volcano shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake. Descend into the Ngorongoro caldera to view the wildlife on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Ngorongoro-Serengeti
Depart after breakfast for Serengeti National Reserve. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Arrive in time for your lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Enjoy your evening game drive at Serengeti plains. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Serengeti
Enjoy your morning and afternoon game drives at the park with our safari land cruisers. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Serengeti-Lake Manyara
After your morning breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobob strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Dinner and over night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Lake Manyara-Arusha
You will be transferred after your morning game to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Airport for your In bound flight back home.
