Understanding the importance of the sense of journey I believe this tour outline is unique in outlining an expedition of between 8 - 11 days from Wadi Ram in Jordan, walking to Petra, then descending to the Arava Valley, crossing into Israel (at border crossing, near Eilat ) and continuing through the Negev desert to Ovdat - the impressive Nabatean city and concluding our journey by a one day tour, jeep ride, from there to the Mediterranean coast.

Gaza port was the original Spice Route destination after a 60 day journey from Yemen, along the Red Sea to Wadi Rum and Petra and then across to the Mediterranean port and our journey from Wadi Rum in Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea (in Israel, north of Gaza) will try to give participants a feel for a part of this great journey.
