Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Tana

Upon arrival into the capital city of Madagascar, known as Tana, clear customs and meet our representative for transfer to Anjary. Hotel (midrange) or at Palissandre (top) for overnight.

Day 2: Tana - Morondava

Take a flight to get to the western part of Madagascar. Morondava is the capital of ‘Sakalavan’ i Menabe’, western part of Madagascar. There are a lot to do in the surrounding of Morondava. About 15 km north of Morondava is the famous Baobab Avenue known as the ‘Allée de Baobab’ (Baobab Alley).

The best times to visit are at sunset and sunrise, when the colors of the trees change. The reserve of Kirindy covers approximately 10.000 hectares. The reserve is home to six species of lemurs, 32 reptiles and turtles. Overnight at Renala Sable d’Or (midrange/ top). Hotel Baobab café (midrange and top).

Day 3: Morondava - Tsingy

Leave Morondava and drive to Tsingy. The Tsingy is 152.000 hectares (66.630 hectares of which have national park status) is one of the largest protected areas in Madagascar. The Tsingy is a vast forest of rugged and eroded karst pinnacles. There are about 90 species of birds, 8 species of reptiles and 11 species of lemurs. Hotel Olympe de Bemaraha (midrange and top). Hotel Relais de tsingy (high midrange).

Day 4: Tsingy

Full day visit at both small and big Tsingy. There is a broad canyon which is crossed by a swinging suspension bridge. Amid all this grey are splashes of green from the Pachypodiums and other succulents. And there is plenty of wildlife too, expecting to see long eared owls perched on a branch. In the forests there are troops of Decken’s sifaka and red fro, ted brown lemurs. Hotel Olympe de Bemaraha (midrange and top). Hotel Relais de Tsingy (high midrange).

Day 5: Tsingy - Morondava. Drive back to Morondava.

Day 6: Morondava - Tana

This day, we take a flight to get to Tana, our final destination before flying back home.
