Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Tana
Arriving at Ivato international airport, clear customs and meet our representative for transfer to Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Colbert (top) for overnight.
Days 2-3: Tana - Ampefy
Leave Tana and drive to Ampefy. About half an hour drive, stop at Lemur Park where you could find thirteen species of lemurs. After the visit, continue driving toward Ampefy which is located along the Shore of Itasy Lake. The lake of Itasy is the third largest lake in the island which is situated about 120 km west of Tana. Also, Itasy is recognized for its lakes, rivers, beautiful waterfalls, etc.
Day 4: Ampefy - Tana
Leave early in the morning and drive back to Tana. Upon arrival, direct transfer to Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, start the walk for city tour around Tana to see the Rova and then go to the market for souvenirs. Overnight at Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Colber hotel (top).
Day 5: Tana
After breakfast, drive to Ambohimanga hill. It also means the blue hill. Ambohimanga is about 25 km north of Tana. It used to be the palace of the first King called Andrianampoinimerina. This palace houses the historical records of all kings who reigned in Madagascar.
After the visit, drive back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Tsimbazaza, the botanical zoo to see different species of plants, lemurs, and going to the museum. Overnight at Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Colbert hotel (top).
