Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Armenia / Yerevan / City tour

Meeting at Zvartnots airport, transfer, accommodation at the hotel. In the afternoon sightseeing tour of the city with visits to the National Art Gallery. Continue tour to St. Grigor Lusavorich church. This differs from other Armenian churches by its style. Visit Matenadaran depository of ancient manuscripts. The Matenadaran or Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Yerevan is one of the richest depositories of manuscripts and books in the world. The collection dates back to 405, when Mesrop Mashtots created the Armenian Alphabet. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 2: Lake Sevan / Goshavank / Parz Lake / Dilijan

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour to Lake Sevan the Gem of Armenia, Visit to the Sevan monastery on the peninsula 8-9 c. Continue tour to Goshavank. Goshavank was erected in place of an older monastery, Ghetik, which had been destroyed by an earthquake in 1188. Mkhitar Gosh, a statesman, outstanding scientist and writer, an author of numerous fables and parables and of the first criminal code, took part in building the monastery, which was known as Goshavank in his honor. Drive to Parz lake and admire its beauty. Overnight at the hotel in Dilijan.

Day 3: Dilijan / Haghartsin / Sanahin / Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour to Haghartsin Monastery. Haghartsin is a 13th century monastery located near the town of Dilijan, Armenia. It was built between the 10th and 14th century; much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty. Continue tour to Haghpat Monastery. Haghpat Monastery, a religious complex founded in the 10th century is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Then drive to Sanahin. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4: Free Day (Possible to arrange city tour upon Your request). Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure day. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 5: Free Day.

Day 6: Yerevan / Khor Virap / Noravank / Areni village / Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour to Khor Virap monastery. The Khor Virap (meaning deep dungeon) monastery is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Armenia. Its location, near the closest point to Mount Ararat within Armenian borders, offers a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia. Continue tour to Noravank monastery. Noravank is a 13th century Armenian Apostolic Church monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Darichay river. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-storey S. Astvatsatsin church. Drive to Areni village for local wine tasting. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 7: Yerevan / Echmiadzin / Zvartnots / Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Echmiadzin. Ejmiatsin is the spiritual centre of Armenia and the seat of Catholics of All Armenians, the head of the Holy Armenian Apostolic church. Continue tour to Hripsime church. Return to Yerevan with stop at the ruins of Zvartnots temple - the pearl of the 7 c. architecture. In the evening there is possibility to organize cultural program at the National Opera and Ballet theatre or at the National Chamber Music hall. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 8: Yerevan / Garni / Geghard / Shopping

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour to Garni the Pagan temple. It was built in the first century A.D. by the Armenian King Tiridates with the money he received after visiting Emperor Nero in Rome. Continue tour to Gueghard Cave Monastery. Gueghard is another incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain. Though the monastery has been around since before the 4th century, the main cathedral was built in 1215. Walk in Vernissage (this market is open on Saturday and Sunday) the market where you can buy souvenirs and jewellery silver handicrafts made by Armenian masters. Farewell dinner at national restaurant with national folk music. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 9: Transfer to the airport. Departure home!
