The wine and olive oil tour with local products tasting; Perelada tour with the castle and its wine production; the Cultural tour with the medieval town of Castelló d’Empuries; and the naturalists tour with Cap de Creus natural park and the natural park of “Els Aiguamolls de l’Empordà”. Within a few days actively you will be discovering this area with all its contrasts, backwards, excellent gastronomy and lovely landscapes.
Explore our region in a natural, healthy and environmentally sustainable and probably the best way to discover the beautiful landscapes and the heritage of the area. Uncover the secrets of the Emporda By Bike and stay active. Our proposal is far removed from the idea of rigorous exercise, as you can go at your own pace, without a guide, visiting special places of interest along our routes. An average day covers some 32 Km., which means you have plenty of time to stop and visit small towns, beauty spots on the coast, natural parks, vineyards and a whole lot more along the way.
Level: Medium - Low, 31-38 Km per day. Most of the route is marked with directional signs.

Dates: All year, specially in spring and autumn.
Day 1: Roses. Arrival at the hotel with direct access to the beach and from where you have magnificent views over the bay of Roses. You will find a welcome letter, general information about the area and a road-book. Dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Day 2: Aiguamolls Natural Park Tour – 30,57 Km. Difficutly: 1 (1-5). Breakfast. A nice and quiet promenade through the Empordà Marshes Natural Park. Hundreds of bird species, several observatories, including the observatory of Sitges de Senillossa, ancient wheat cellars, and its fantastic views from the Pyrennees to the Mediterranean Sea. Park the bicycles in the hotel garage. Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
Day 3: Wine and Olive Oil Tour – 39,54 Km. Difficulty: 2 (1-5). Breakfast. Cycling through vineyards and olive groves. Today you can visit a cooperative cellar and an olive oil mill. In Garriguella village you can buy typical local products such as honey, wine and olive oil. You will pass near by Vilaminiscle village where there is the Sancturary of Mare de Déu del Camp and the Turtle recuperation centre of the Albera. The tour passes by the viewing point of “Puig de Mala Veina” with fantastic views over the Empordà region, the villages of Pedret i Marzà and Vilaüt. Park the bicycles in the hotel garage.Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
Day 4: County Medieval Tour – 34,50 Km. Difficulty: 1 (1-5). Breakfast. Your bicycles will be ready and waiting for you to take your first ride: passing through medieval villages such as Vila Sacra with tis Romanesque church of the village of Castelló d’Empúries with its Jewsih quarter, the cathedral, the XIV century prison, the ancient wash house. The tour goes around the natural park of Empordà Marshes with hundreds of bird species and you can see the orchids in May-June, the sea, and local agriculture. Park the bicycles in the hotel garage. Dinner included in the Hotel restaurant.
Day 5: Perelada Tour – 41,92 Km. Difficulty: 1 (1-5). Breakfast. A 38km. Round trip through the north of the Emporda; so you will cycle along the north of the Natural Park of the Empordà Marshes. When arriving at the village of Perelada the landscape changes from the wetlands to farm land. In Perelada village you can visit the castle, the crystal museum, the wine museum, a library, the Carme Church and the Sant Domènec cloister. Park the bicycles in the hotel garage. Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant.
Day 6: Cap Norfeu Tour – 27 Km. Difficulty: 4 (1-5). Breakfast. The hardest of the 5 tours as the land is hilly. It is interesting particularly for the magnificent views over the Roses bay; you see the sea through out the tour. Passing prehistoric remains and the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. Park the bicycles in the hotel garage. Dinner included in the hotel restaurant.
Day 7: Roses. After breakfast check out from the hotel.
