Day 1: Rafting Petrohue River. Arrival to Puerto Montt airport transfer to your hotel rest and we will explain the full itinerary with us in the next days, your guide will give you some tips about the city Puerto Varas and will answer your question. In the afternoon we will pick you up at the hotel for your first experience with us Rafting in the Petrohue river (class III). Grab a paddle and join us on one of Chile’s most beautiful rivers, the Petrohue. A ride down this Class III section of river provides thrilling adrenaline-rushing rapids, as well as opportunities to float through quiet sections while taking in the splendor of Vincente Perez Rosales National Park. Expert guides lead you down this stretch for approximately 1.5 hours, which passes through breathtaking scenery and offers views of volcanoes Osorno, Calbuco, and Puntiagudo, B/S. Day 2: Trekking Calbuco volcano. We leave from your hotel heading to the beginning of the Austral road. At the Chaicas River we will turn left towards the Andes. On the way, the visitor is stunned by the beautiful countryside, and the first glimpses of the volcanoes especially Volcano Calbuco. At Villa Correntoso, we take the road to the Reserve National Lanquihue. This park secures the preservation of the evergreen forest, where we can see almost all the species include our famous longevity red wood Alerce some species reach 4.000 years old, also we can see beech-related at this level, on a volcanic soil foundation. This trail allows the visitor to have a view of the Calbuco volcano almost all the time. On the way, we will witness the sudden changes in the landscape as we go up: the lush green forest being replaced by bushes and, finally, by lichen. At this level we reach an amazing view of the whole valley and the Calbuco volcano we will eat our snack on the trail and maybe we have the possibilities to watch a Magellan woodpecker because this is place where this bird has been seen. Later we will return to the Hotel B/S. Day 3: Trekking Osorno Volcano. Leaving early in the morning from Petrohué, we head towards the skirts of the volcano The Osorno (2661mts.). On our way up, trekking partly through a canyon, we will experience the amazing rock formations formed by water and melting snow of The Osorno, as well as lava while reaching our goal which is the pass between The Osorno and Cerro La Picada (1710mts.) While ascending the Osorno, we will observe some of the native trees and fauna of the area, as well as the spectacular views of the lake Todos Los Santos and its surroundings. As soon as we’ve reached our goal we’ll enjoy our well deserved picnic to regain our strength at the edge of a beautiful waterfall produced by the melting snow and ice from the volcano and mountain tops. We will descend towards Playa Larga where we can take a refreshing dip in the lake before heading back towards Petrohué, B/S. Day 4: Transfer out to the airport. Notes: Price Includes:
