The first evening we dine out and meet the rest of the group, the following day there is a morning tour of the city before setting off on our adventures. During this holiday we stay in and visit working estancias and converted houses that were lived in by the first pioneers. In most of the estancia we have the opportunity to meet the owners and talk to them about the area, farming in the region and their family history.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Morning tour of the historical town Punta Arenas, then transfer to Estancia Olga Teresa for a horse demonstration and lunch. Arrive at Estancia Rio Penitente for the night.

Day 2: Day of riding from Estancia Rio Penitente, we will gallop across open pampa, wind through woodlands and rest for lunch by a lagoon. Over night stop with a traditional Patagonia barbecue in the same estancia.

Day 3: Early morning transfer to Estancia Puerto Consuelo the first estancia in the Ultima Esperanza region, situated on the banks of fjord Eberhard. Set off to Milodon Cave across open pampa. Stop for lunch and then continue the ride to Laguna Sofia, through ancient Lenga forests and open valleys until we reach a Condor lookout point on the cliffs of Laguna Sofia. Over night stop in Hotel Tres pasos.

Day 4: Ride from Tres Pasos to the small farming settlement Cerro Castillo. This ride will take us around lagoons, through woodland valleys and up to a lookout point to see the Torres del Paine National Park. Late afternoon we will arrive at estancia El Pionero where we will spend the evening.

Day 5: Ride from Estancia El Pionero across the plains to Sarminento Puesto for lunch. Transfer to Estancia Lazo situated on the banks of lago verde with spectacular views of the National Park.

Day 6: From estancia Lazo we will ride up to the Toro mountain lookout poin, where we will have a magnificent view of the surrounding area, before descending down the mountain path and into the park administration for lunch. In the afternoon we will continue our ride to Lago Grey, where we can take a stroll along the beach to see Grey Glacier and the icebergs, overnight stay in the hosteria Lago Grey.

Day 7: Beautiful ride through the park, around the horns to Estancia Las Torres at the foothills of the Towers of Paine, after which we will have a relaxing evening at this luxury estancia/ hosteria.

Day 8: Walk Las Torres. Three hours to reach the base and two and half down. Option to relax at the Estancia Las Torres if preferred or required.

Day 9: We return to Puerto Natales by boat down the Ultima Esperanza fjord, visit Serrano glacier then stop for a traditional Patagonia barbecue lunch in Estancia Perales. The evening will be spent in the beautiful hotel Llanuras de Diana.

Day 10: A relaxing morning in Llanuras de Diana before our transfer to Punta Arenas to further explore or catch a plane to your next destination.

- Traditional Chilean saddles and brides. English and Western saddles are available
- Trekking, kayak, or mountain guides (depending on the excursion you choose)
- National Park Guide (these are for day trip to Torres del Paine and Perito Moreno)
- Three meals a day while visiting cities and national parks during your trip
- Entrance fees to National Parks
- All of the transportation during the excursions listed in your program (personal transportation during free time are not included)
- All of the navigation during the program is included
- All of lodging in the city and campsites during your trip.
