Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Chengd - Lhasa (Lhasa airport 80 km, asphalt road, 3595 meters, 15-19 centigrade)

Morning time our staff pick you from your hotel in Chengdu then dropping of you to Chengdu airport help you check in. 2 hour flight you will arrive at Lhasa Gongga airport. You guide will pick you from Gongga airport to Lhasa city. Rest in hotel. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 2: Lhasa city tour sightseeing. Morning time buy the entrance of Potala by yourself. Then visit Jokhang Temple, afternoon visit Drepung Monastery. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 3: Lhasa city sightseeing. Morning time visit Potala Palace, then afternoon to Sera Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 4: Lhasa - Yerpa Caves. Camping. It takes about two hours to drive to the caves of Yerpa, situated northeast of Lhasa. Later, Padmasambhava concealed many terma objects around Yerpa, including the celebrated ritual dagger of Sera.

Day 5: Yerpa - Taklung Monastery. Camping. Drive through Tibetan valleys and cross Chak La pass before dropping sharply to Taklung in the Pha-chu valley, about 120 km from Lhasa. The Kagyu Monastery Taklung was founded by Taklung Tangpa Tashipel in 1180 on a location previously inhabited by the Kadampa lama Potowa.

Day 6: Taklung monastery - Reting Monastery. Camping. The monastery was constructed in 1056 by Dromtonpa, the foremost Tibetan student of the great Bengali Buddhist master Atisha.

Day 7: Reting - Terdrom. Camping.

Day 8: Terdrom - Drigung Monastery. Camping. Drigung is located some 72 kilometers north of Mozhu Gongkar.

Day 9: Drigung - Gandan Monastery. Camping. Gandan was founded in 1409 by Tsongkapa, Gandan was the first and foremost Gelukpa monastery, constructed by Tsongkhapa himself.

Day 10: Gandan Monastery - Lhasa. Drive to Lhasa, then free time. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 11: Lhasa airport dropping off. Morning time Lhasa airport dropping off, take the flight back to Chengdu or Beijing, Shanghai, Xian.
