Day 1: Arrival at Jaipur by air/train Arrival at Jaipur - Meeting and assistance on arrival at Airport/Railway station and transfer to Hotel Jaimahal Palace / The Rambagh Palace. Evening visit Chokhi Dhani – an ethnic village resort with a blend of rustic environment, a place of folk culture and joyous recreation with fragrance of the soil and mud wall structures. As far as the eye travels, one can see the various activities of the village in progress. Caparisoned camel, horses and bullock carts are there for joy rides. Day 2: After breakfast visit Jaipur – The capital of Rajasthan, this picturesque city is a symphony in pink, a colour that symbolizes hospitality in Rajput culture. Morning excursion to Amber Fort - One of the finest examples of Rajput architecture, situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects the fort’s ramparts and terraces. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily-caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chamber & hallways of the palace, which are famous for the excellence of their design and decoration.
Afternoon tour of Old walled city of Jaipur, Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic: The City Palace & its museum – Which has a rare combination of the finest blends of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture with a collection of Royal costumes, Armoury with arms & old paintings, The Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds. Day 3: Jodhpur by Train. Early evening transfer to the railway station in time to board train intercity express for Jodhpur. Lv: Jaipur at 1720hrs Arr: Jodhpur 2245 hrs Arrival at Jodhpur - Meeting and assistance on arrival at railway station and transfer to Hotel Taj Hari Mahal Palace. Dinner & overnight at Hotel Taj Hari Mahal Palace. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4: After breakfast at hotel leave for Morning sight seeing tour of Jodhpur - Gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathores of Marwar. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, rising up on a hilly scrap, built on the advice of a hermit, which over looks the cities blue houses, the image of a long sentinel. Inside the fort are a number of palaces added by successive ruler and the canon rampart. Also visits the Jaswanth Thada, richly carved white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh ii, which preserves the genealogy of the rulers of Jodhpur along with their life-size portraits.
Late after noon Jeep safari to a Bishnoi village – A memorable outing in jeeps visit various traditional village seeing local handicrafts viz shoe makers, pottery hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with ancestral silver Jewellery, en-route watch and photograph wildlife black buck, chinkaras, peacock etc. freely moving in abundance protected by “Bishnois” Protectors of wildlife and tree. Day 5: Udaipur (260 Kms by car) Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast morning drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur en route visiting Ranakpur visit the famous Jain temples, dating back to the 15th Century. Its 29 halls are supported by 1444 pillars none of, which are similar. The temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. Includes visit to two more Jain temples and the temple of the sun god with its erotic sculptures. (Optional - option of lunch in the temple or at Maharani Bagh at Ranakpur at extra charge).
Continue your drive to "Lake City" upon arrival check into the hotel Lake Palace. Afternoon, motor launch cruise on the placid waters to lake Pichola. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. Day 6: Udaipur Breakfast at the hotel full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur. This is possibly the most romantic city in Rajasthan. There would be no doubt as to why it is called "The Venice of East". The city was founded by Maharana Udai Singh is situated on the edge of three lakes and surrounded by the Aravali mountain ranges. The ambience, climate and history combined make Udaipur a tourist heaven. Morning excursion to famous temples of Eklingji & Nagda – Eklingji: 22 Km from Udaipur, built in 734 AD. This complex of 108 temples enclosed by high walls is devoted to Eklingji, The Deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, Nagda: This ancient place in Mewar, was the first capital of Bappa Rawal and has a magnificent torana exquisitely carved with graceful Apsaras. Afternoon half-day City tour visiting City Palace museum, Jagdish temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fatehsagar lake, return to hotel after city drive.Dinner & overnight at Hotel Lake Palace. Day 7: Udaipur/ Departure by flight/ Train. Break fast at hotel. In time transfer from hotel to the Airport / Railway station to catch flight/ train for onwards destination. Includes: (B), (D).
