These two-day Matapica tour goes to the coast line of the wild coast or Matapica beach. This place is uninhabited and on 30 km away of Paramaribo. From the city we travel by bus to Commewijne from where the boat will take us to plantation Johanna Margareta. After a lunch we continue by boat straight through the mangrove bunches and swamp area to Matapica. This boat tour will take one hour of our time, but for the time being you will enjoy the flora and fauna. Lots of water birds will be spotted as some crocodiles also.
On Matapica can you make a beautiful beach walk, swim in the Atlantic, go fishing and enjoying a beautiful sun perdition in the evening, when the sun is under, and the tide becomes high you go together with the guide in search of the giant turtles. You will spend the night in a house on beds. Transport: Bus and open boat.
