The second city of Suriname, Nickerie or the rice district: call it how you want, we know what you taking about. See a different kind of living and culture which is different of Paramaribo. Rice field all over the district and also paddy mills.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: From Paramaribo Saramacca, Groningen is the first stop. All the monuments remind us of the first Dutch farmers who established there. The next stop is in Coronie or the Coconut district. The sea with a lot of water birds, the silence of the district and also the fruits beside the road for anyone who wants to buy. After a short visit to Wageningen we arrive in Nickerie. A visit to the paddy mill and temple makes the day complete.

Day 2: After a walk on the local market, a small boat is ready to make the trip to Bigi Pan Nature reserve, the home of 122 kinds of birds. The scarlet Ibis, Fishing hawk or the King Fisher will surely be present.

- Airy clothing
- Insect repelled
- Small bag for own stuff etc
- SRD in small notes for personal expenditure.
