The Bigi Pan Nature Reserve area prevent a lot of birds and fish types master such as the Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus Ruber) and other beautiful colored birds. Most of them are water birds. Driving from the city to the west side of Suriname we pass by Saramacca. There we visit Groningen and after Coronie or the coconut district we will stop at Wageningen. Our last stop is Nickerie, second the city of Suriname. Here is a visit to a mill and overnight in a hotel. In the morning next day it’s time for the local market and after that by boat to the Bigi Pan Nature reserve. Several bird kinds and some crocodiles we will see also in water or along the side having a sunbathe.

- Sandals or good water shoes
- Cap, insect repelled, small bag for own stuff
- SRD for personal expenditure.
