Tur Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai. Afternoon heading to Hanoi railway station for Lao Cai city. Taking overnight train on Cao Son Express, deluxe sleeper berth
Day 2: Lao Cai - hill tribal market - Cao Son Ecolodge
Meet and greet by our tour guide in Lao Cai city, having breakfast and rest. Proceeding to Thanh Binh tea plantation via the pineapple region of Ban Phiet. Walking to the village of Ta Then from where you can view the panorama of China border, verdant mountain and featured rice terrace dotted in pine forest. A rocky road from Ta Then to Lung Khau Nhin brings you an authentic feeling of mountain Vietnam. You will have a chance to join with Yao Tien tribe who are heading to the market. Enjoy the untouched market of Cao Son/ Lung Khau Nhin / Muong Khuong/ Pha Long or Coc Ly ( different days) with our tour guide. Transfer to Cao Son Ecolodge for lunch.
Afternoon enjoy a scenic ride to Ta Thang, the best sightseeing point in the region where you can see stunning Bac Ha karts mountain, Chay river and a beautiful valley. You will make a visit to the oldest village in Cao Son. Here, the local people still live in earth-walled houses. Dinner and overnight in Cao Son Ecolodge.
Day 3: Cao Son - Tin Thang - Lung Sen Lung
After having breakfast in our lodge, car transfer to Tin Thang village. We will experience the traditional work of Flower Hmong: making silver items, black smith, distilling corn wine or making tofu. Start walking to the trails of Tin Thang. We will pass the forest then downhill to Xa Lung Cheng village where you are welcomed by local tribe. Picnic lunch in the school.
Afternoon walking uphill to Lu Sui Tung village, the famous plum plantation. The trails from Lung Xa Lung Cheng to Lu Sui Tung will be compensated by spectacular landscape. Car transfer from Lu Sui Tung to our lodge. Free at leisure. In the evening, we will enjoy some traditional musical performance of Flower Hmong. This is surely impressive.
Day 4: Cao Son - Sapa
Having breakfast, check out. Car transfer to Muong Khuong town. It is time for your photos as you travel on the top of the mountain and you can view things that attract your camera much. Arriving in Sapa about noon. Relax and check in. Afternoon visit Cat Cat village, experience the traditional life of Black Hmong people and enjoy the waterfall nearby. Return to Sapa town for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Sapa - TaVan - TaPhin
Trekking downhill to the lush valley of TaVan where you can view the terraces and secluded villages. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the waterfall before discovering the life of Giay people. Afternoon transfer to Ta Phin village, the habitat of Red Dzao people. Free time for shopping with local women for traditional brocade, embroidery. Return to Lao Cai city for border gate. Taking the overnight train back to Hanoi.
