Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Our team welcomes and assists you at your arrival in the international airport of Dakar. We transfer you to one of the 5-star hotels of Dakar Hotel Sofitelteranga or hotel Meridien or Hotel savannah or similar hotel. Meals: (B).

Day 2: At 9 am, departure for a city tour in Dakar. Highlights: sand painting and art craft markets, the African art museum, the university, the independence square, the presidential palace, the mosque, the cathedral, and the crowded local market. At midday we take the ferry for Goree Island the former slave trade station. At 3 pm visit of the slave house museum, women museum, historical museum. Stroll around that historical island. At 6 pm we take the boat back to Dakar and transfer you to your hotel. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 3: At 8:30 am we leave Dakar for the pink lake the arrival point of the famous rally Paris - Dakar. Tour around the lake to visit salt diggers and villages. At 2 pm we continue the trip to Saint-Louis the old French colonial city in the north of Senegal. In this city every year on May the international jazz festival is celebrated. Arrival at your hotel around 6 pm. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 4: Relaxation in the morning. At 4:30 pm departure to visit the historical island of saint Louis on horse cab. Back to your hotel around 6 pm. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 5: At 8:00 am departure to visit one of the bird parks of that region according to the season: the park of Djoudj or the park of the langue of barbarie. 2 hours strolling in African motorized canoes to enjoy watching a variety of birds. Lunch at a restaurant near the park around 1 pm. At 3 pm we take the way back to your hotel. Rest or swimming in the pool. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 6: Relaxation in the morning. You can profit by other leisure activities. Water sports, horse riding. At 4 pm: we go to visit the local and art craft market. Back to the hotel around 6 pm. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 7: Departure at 8:30 for kaolack, the capital city of SineSaloum region. Along the way you will visit an African village and the biggest mosque of West AfricaYou can lunch at a middle class African restaurant before reaching your hotel around 6 pm. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 8: At 10 am visit of the local art craft market of kaolack. In the afternoon we continue the trip down south to Toubacouta village near the delta of the river Sinesaloum close to Gambia’s border. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 9: Departure at 9:00 am to Gambia. Visit the village of juffureh a former slave trade station. Alex Haley an Afro-American writer whose ancestor was taken from there wrote the famous novel: the Roots. After we move to Banjul the capital city of Gambia. Lodging in one of the 4-star hotel in Gambia. Hotel Atlantic, Sun beach or similar etc. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 10: At 9 am departure for a city tour in Gambia. Highlights: Gambia museum, art craft market, mysterious crocodiles. Relax in the afternoon. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 11: In the morning boat riding to watch birds. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 12: At 9 am departure to visit the beautiful verdant region of Casamance in the southern west of Senegal Lunch around 1 pm. Lodging in one of the 3-star hotels in the area: hotel Kalissaye or in Foutadjalon hotel. In the afternoon you can enjoy the leisure activities available. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 13: At 9 am departure in motorized African canoes for a tour to admire that wonderful landscape made of palm grove, lagoons, and ideal habitats of thousands of birds. In the afternoon we visit some African village. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 14: At 9 am departure for Ziguinchor the capital city of low Casamance. In the afternoon city tour to visit its local and art craft market. Lodgig in one of the 3-star hotels in this city: hotel Flamboyant or similar. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 15: Departure at 9 am for the islands of that region. Stop half way to pay homage to the king of Joola people one the major ethnic group of that region. Around 11am we take a motorized canoe to join the Karabane islands. At 4 pm departure to visit that beautiful mangrove full of birds and some traditional village. Back to the island around 6 pm. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 16: At 10 am we take back the canoe to ride back to the land. Visit of the village of Mlomp the architecture, and museum of which are very typical. In the afternoon we arrive in Capskiring a very beautiful place with its nice beaches. Relaxation in 4-star hotel: les Paletuviers or hibiscus or similar. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 17: Rest and Relax. You can enjoy extra leisure: fishing, bicycle.

Day 18: At 8 am departure for Kolda the capital city of up Casamance where the dominant ethnic groups are Fulani and Mandica. Visit a village along the way. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 19: At 8 am departure for the petite cote the most important coastal resorts in Senegal. The longest trip - 6 hours driving, but we will stop for lunch and for visiting a village. Arrival to your hotel around 6 pm. Lodging in one of the 4-star or 5-star Hotels: le Lamantin beach hotel, or Espadon hotel, Royam, or hotel Neptune. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 20: Relaxation. Enjoy all type of Leisure: water sports, golf, tennis, horse-riding, motoquad, buggy, legal gambling. In the afternoon you can visit the animal park of Bandia.

Day 21: We transfer you to the airport according to your flight hour. End of your nice trip in West Africa.
