The day starts in Rome at The Baths of Caracalla, with the amazing ruins of the most magnificent spa built by the Roman emperor. Together with your guide you will then reach the magnificent ruins of Ostia Antica, which at the time of the Romans was the most important seaport of the Mediterranean.

At Ostia Antica you will enter inside this ancient town and visit these very well preserved ruins that are so fascinating that Ostia Antica is also called "the little Pompei". You will see mosaics, frescoes, an amphitheater, roads and houses, the oldest synagogue ever found in Europe and more.

- We can also arrange a shorter version of this tour without The Baths of Caracalla.
- Ostia antica is located about one hour from the center of Rome, and can be reached easily with public transportation. As an alternative we can provide a private car and driver with pick-up at your hotel.
- Duration: 7 hours (including a break for lunch).
