Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Llamahuasi after breakfast. Arrive at Corazon National Park and begin climb. Enjoy a bag lunch. Summit and enjoy the view 4788m (15,700ft). Descend and return to Llamahuasi by late afternoon.
Day 2: Depart Llamahuasi after breakfast. Arrive at Iliniza National Park and begin climb. Enjoy a bag lunch on the mountain. Summit at mid day 5126m (16,800ft). Descend and return to Llamahuasi by late afternoon.
Day 3: Rest day at Lamahuasi (the perfect opportunity to take one of our cultural tours)
Day 4: Depart Llamahuasi early morning and arrive at Cotopaxi National Park. Climb to Jose Riveras Refuge at 4800m and have lunch. Review of equipment and safety instructions. Dinner then early to bed (6:30pm).
Day 5: Midnight wake up call and snack. Begin climb and summit at daybreak 5897m (19,300ft). Descend to the refuge for breakfast. Return to Llamahuasi late morning.
