We will spend 10 days together, attending teachings, keeping a mindfulness practice, having discussions, taking walks in the Rhododendron forests, getting an exposure to Tibetan culture and society, appreciating the natural beauty of the area surrounded by the white mountains of the Himalayas. All this while living in the guest-home run by His Holiness's brother and sister-in-law and/or the home/hotel of the local Maharaja. His holiness will give teachings on the Diamond Sutra, Seven point mind training, Tsongkhapa's, the three principal paths and the Four Noble Truths. He will also confirm the Avalokiteshvera initiation.

We maintain the spirit of attentiveness and discuss the teachings to gain a deeper and collective understanding of them. Twice we have had the opportunity to meet with a number of senior monks and teachers. We visited the Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government-in-exile, explored the arts and cultural centre set up by His Holiness, the monastery of the ‘Oracle’, and besides experienced many magical moments that manifest in a pilgrimage like this in India. We are sure it will be another wonderful and fulfilling immersion into the living Dharma and an opportunity to visit a beautiful part of the Himalayas.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, 14th October: Delhi. Leave for Pathankot in the evening by train.

Day 2, 15th October: Pathankot to Dharamsala.

Day 3, 16th October: Dharamsala.

Day 4, 17th October: Dharamsala.

Day 5, 18th October: Dharamsala.

Day 6, 19th October: Dharamsala.

Day 7, 20th October: Dharamsala.

Day 8, 21st October: Dharamsala.

Day 9, 22nd October: Dharamsala to Pathankot to Delhi by train.

Day 10, 23rd October: Delhi.
