Day 1: Board flight from London to Paro. (Flight is either via Delhi, Kathmandu, Calcutta or Bangkok. There are no direct flights from UK). Day 2: On arrival in Paro by your international flight, assistance at airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon: Guided sightseeing tour. Day 3: Morning. Sightseeing tour of Paro. Later drive to Thimphu (62 kms/02 hrs) and on arrival transfer to hotel. In the morning, guided tour of Paro including visit Ta Dzong (Bhutan National museum) Visit the Rimpong dzong (fortress), visit the Drukgyel Dzong (fortress of victorious drukpas. visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest and the most sacred temple in Bhutan built in 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gompo. Later drive to Thimphu, the capital city. It is 60km and takes only 2 hours through deep river gorges, villages, apple orchards and rice terraces on either side. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Thimphu. Day 4: Full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Day 5: Morning. Drive to Punakha (77 kms/03 hrs) and on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of Punakha. Day 6: Morning. Drive to Bumthang (219 kms/08 hrs) and on arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight in Bumthang. Day 7: Full day sightseeing tour of Bumthang. Day 8: Morning. Drive to Gangtey via Trongsa and on arrival, check in at hotel. Day 9: Morning. Sightseeing tour of Gangtey. Later drive to Punakha (75 kms/03 hrs) and on arrival, check in at hotel. Day 10: Punakha-Paro (enroute visit Wangdue Phodrang) Morning. Guided tour of Wangdue Phodrang. Later drive to Paro (130 kms/05 hrs) and on arrival transfer to hotel. Day 11: Morning.
