Day 1: Depart UK. Fly to Delhi. Day 2: Arrive Delhi. On arrival we greet you and transfer to the award winning Imperial Hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Day 3: Delhi. After a leisurely breakfast, explore the myriad sites of Old and New Delhi. Take an optional cycle rickshaw ride in the bustling Chandni Chowk market. Evening at leisure. Day 4: Delhi - Jaipur. In the morning, drive to Jaipur and check in at the Taj Jai Mahal Palace. Remainder of the day free for independent activities. Perhaps you would like to explore the colorful markets of the city. Day 5: Jaipur. In the morning, ascend the imposing hill top Amer Fort on an elephant back. Later city tour of Jaipur including the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Evening at leisure. Day 6: Jaipur - Agra. Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting the heritage city of Fatehpur Sikri- a world heritage site. In Agra, stay at the Taj View. Day 7: Agra. Witness the spectacular ‘Taj Mahal’ at sunrise. Later visit to the Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula. Remainder of the day at leisure. Day 8: Agra - Khajuraho. Early morning a short train journey to Jhansi. On arrival in Jhansi transfer to car to drive to Khajuraho - en route visiting the ancient town of Orchha. In Khajuraho, stay at the Taj Chandela. Day 9: Khajuraho. Today explore the Eastern, Western and Southern group of temples. Day 10: Khajuraho - Varanasi. In the morning, fly to Varanasi. On arrival we greet you and transfer to the Taj Ganges. In the afternoon, excursion to Sarnath. Evening at leisure. Day 11: Varanasi. At sunrise, cruise the Ganges to witness the best spectacle of the holy city. Later walking tour of the old city. Remainder of the day at leisure. Day 12: Varanasi - Delhi. Morning free for independent activities. In the afternoon fly to Delhi and stay at the Imperial Hotel. In the evening, farewell dinner hosted by Indian Odyssey at an Indian specialty restaurant.
