Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi-Panari Hotel. Guests will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta international airport where they will be met by our representative who will transfer them to the Panari Hotel for overnight stay and relaxation.
Day 2: Tortilis Camp (Amboseli). After breakfast the guests will be met by our driver/guide who will transfer them to Wilson airport to take a scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. The combination of scenery, people and animals is what makes Amboseli National Park so fascinating. Beautifully situated at the foot of the towering Kilimanjaro, it is the home of the brightly painted Maasai tribe. Lunch at the Tortilis Camp, which is named after acacia Tortilis trees that surround it. Afternoon game drive to enable guests see elephant, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, buffaloes, burchelles, zebras. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: Tortilis Camp (Amboseli). Guests will undertake early morning game drive to see what they may have missed in the previous day. Or they do hot air balloon safari over the Amboseli, which will be followed by bush breakfast. The guests will then after breakfast visit Maasai cultural village where the guests can experience first hand, one of the few remaining ancient great cultures of the world. Lunch and afternoon leisure at the camp that has swimming pool, massage parlors, making guests enjoy life under the canvass. Final afternoon game drive at the Amboseli is undertaken. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 4: Samburu Interprids (Samburu National Reserve). After breakfast, the guests will transfer to airstrip for a scheduled flight to Wilson airport to transfer to Samburu national reserve by another scheduled flight. Samburu national reserve is in the Kenya wild north, where all the flora and fauna to be found in the north of Kenya are found. This countryside dotted with volcanic peaks, offers a sanctuary to a wide variety of rare animals. The camp itself is located deep inside the reserve guarantees close encounters with these rare wild species; reticulated giraffe, long necked gerenuk antelope, Somali ostrich, gravy zebras, basa Oryx. Also, elephant, leopards are to be found here. Lunch at the Interprids camp. Afternoon game drive will enable guests sample the mentioned wild mammals and a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at the Interprids.
Day 5: Interprids (Samburu National Reserve). Early morning game drive at the entire local eco-system (Samburu, Shaba, and buffalo springs reserves). After breakfast, visit the Samburu villages where guests will learn the tradition and semi nomadic heritage of the local people. Lunch at the Interprids; take another afternoon game drive. Dinner and local entertainment by the local Samburu dancing groups. Overnight stay at the Interprids.
Day 6 Mara inrepids Camp-Maasai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast the guests will transfer to airstrip for scheduled flight to Maasai Mara. Check in and have lunch at the Mara Interprids. Afternoon game drive at Mara that may enable guests see the Big 5, among other mammals and several bird species. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is the continuation of the Serengeti eco system. Its one of the worlds last remaining eco system harmonising animals and nature. It’s in the Mara where you will have one of those breath taking, heart-stopping moments a crack of dawn balloon ride over nature playground, a million wildebeests making their annual migration across the Mara river as the crocodiles, hyenas, lions lay in wait for their kill.
Day 7: Early morning game drive to enable guests see what they may have missed previous day. After breakfast, the guests will visit Maasai cultural village where they will experience first hand, one of the few remaining ancient great cultures of the world. Lunch and afternoon leisure. Afternoon game drive to be undertaken to explore more of the vast ecosystem. Dinner and overnight stay at the Interprids.
Day 8: Early morning game drive at the Mara or guests may choose to have hot air balloon safari over the Mara followed by bush breakfast. After breakfast, depart for airstrip for a scheduled flight to Wilson airport. Have lunch in a city restaurant and undertake a city tour/shopping. Crown the trip with a farewell dinner at the carnivore restaurant. Transfer to airport thereafter for a flight home.
