From the architectural splendour in Delhi to the magnificient forts and palaces in Jaipur and Agra, to the ancient city of Gwalior, to the city of Orchha where one finds temples and forts line the banks of a river, to the incomparable temples of Khajuraho, to the holy city of Varanasi and then finally to Lucknow, the city with royal history - the tour introduces you to the timeless spirit of ancient India. An extraordinary tour for those you would like to explore the mysticism and grandeur of Northern Indian heritage.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart UK. Fly to Delhi.

Day 2: Arrive Delhi. We greet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: In Delhi. Morning, explore the sights in New Delhi. Remainder of the day free for your independent activities.

Day 4: In Delhi. Morning explore the intriguing sights of Old Delhi, visiting the Red Fort and take a rickshaw ride through the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Delhi-Jaipur. Morning drive to Jaipur, the pink city of India. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 6: In Jaipur. Today visit the imposing Amber Fort, ascending on this hilltop fort on elephant back. Later on, explore the city of Jaipur visiting the City Palace and the observatory Jantar Mantar.

Day 7: Jaipur-Agra. Drive to Agra enroute visiting the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and the glorious city of Fatehpur Sikri- a World Heritage site.

Day 8: In Agra. At sunrise, visit the famous ‘Taj Mahal’ for an enthralling view of the magnificent monument. Later, visit the Agra Fort and the Itmad-ud-daula. Remainder of the day free for independent activities.

Day 9: Agra-Gwalior. Morning drive to Gwalior, the ancient city in the heart of India. Afternoon excursion of the city visiting the magnificient Gwalior Fort that dominates the city. Take a walk around the city and you would discover old havelis (palaces) with exquisitely carved doorways and windows.

Day 10: Gwalior-Orchha. Drive to Orchha. In the afternoon, visit the Orchha palace and the local temples.

Day 11: Orchha-Khajuraho. Morning, drive to Khajuraho. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 12: In Khajuraho. Today explore the unique temples of Khajuraho.

Day 13: Khajuraho-Varanasi. Morning fly to Varanasi. Remainder of the day free to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 14:In Varanasi. Witness the day unfolding while taking a boat ride on the holy river Ganges amidst hectic religious activity followed by a walking tour of the old city.

Day 15: Varanasi-Lucknow. Morning guided excursion to Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage. Afternoon, transfer to the train station in time to board train for Lucknow. Late night arrival in Lucknow and transfer to the hotel.

Day 16: In Lucknow. Morning guided tour of Lucknow, the city of Nawabs and Begums, built in Islamic architecture. Rest of the day be at leisure or explore the bustling bazaar for its famous handicrafts.

Day 17: Lucknow- Delhi. Morning at leisure. Afternoon, transfer to the train station in time to board train for Delhi. Late evening arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel.

Day 18: Depart Delhi. Transfer to airport in time to board your return flight.
