An extraordinary tour that starts in the capital city of Delhi and trails its way following the footsteps of Buddha- the historical cities and towns where Lord Buddha once visited and left a legendary history behind.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart UK. Board your flight for Delhi from London.
Day 2: Arrive Delhi. We greet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 3: In Delhi. Today explore the myriad contrasting sights of Old Delhi and New Delhi co-existing in style telling tales of the bygone era.
Day 4: Delhi- Varanasi. Fly to Varanasi. Remainder of the day at leisure in leisure.
Day 5: In Varanasi. In the morning, excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Remainder of the day free to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 6: In Varanasi. At dawn take a boat ride at River Ganges. Later guided city tour.
Day 7: Varanasi-Bodhgaya. Early Morning long drive to Bodhgaya. Late afternoon tour of Bodhgaya.
Day 8: In Bodhgaya. Day excursion to Saptapari Cave and Venevamas.
Day 9: Bodhyaga-Patna. In the morning, drive to Patna enroute visit to Rajgir and Nalanda.
Day 10: Patna-Kushinagar. In the morning, drive to Kushinagar enroute visiting Vaishali.
Day 11: Kushinagar-Lumbini (Nepal). Morning: tour of Kushinagar. Later drive to Lumbini. Evening at leisure in Lumbini.
Day 12: Lumbini-Balrampur (Sravasti). Today explore the town of Lumbini. Later long drive to Balrampur.
Day 13: In Balrampur. Day excursion of Balrampur, Kapilavastu and Sravasti.
Day 14: Balrampur-Lucknow. Morning drive to Lucknow. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 15: Lucknow-Delhi. In the morning, explore city of Lucknow. In the afternoon, board train to Delhi. Late evening arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel.
Day 16: Depart Delhi. Day free for last minute packing/shopping. In the evening, farewell dinner. Later transfer to the international airport to board return flight.
