Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir via Istanbul. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2: Cappadocia-Red Valley/Cavusin/Pasabag Valley/Devrent/Avanos/Uchisar. After breakfast at hotel Full day dedicated to the excursion to the Valley of the image (Devrent), where the stone eroded by the wind gave rise to conical formations are also known by the name of fairy chimneys. Continue through the valley of the monks (Pasabag) and the Red Valley (Kizilvadi). Along the way visit the Uzumlu Church of the ninth century. Before returning to the hotel, climbing to the citadel of Uchisar to admire a spectacular panorama of the surrounding valleys. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Cappadocia-Ozluce Underground City/Soganli/Keslik
After breakfast at hotel, full-day excursion into the valley of Soganli which has considerable artistic interest, countless frescoed churches, houses and rock tombs that offer the visitor an excellent overview of Byzantine painting between the 6th and 12th centuries. Fleeing Roman persecution, the early Christians, came in small groups to hide in the monastery complex of Keslik. Then visiting the underground city of Özlüce (or Emir Gazi), a veritable underground labyrinth carved into the bowels of the earth since ancient times for security reasons and also used by Christians in the seventh century to escape the persecutions of the iconoclastic period. Return for the hotel to Urgup. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Cappadocia-Istanbul. Free day. Departure flight from Kayseri or Nevsehir in Cappadocia to Istanbul.
