Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Orlando - St. Augustine. This morning you pick up your bike at our Orlando office and head north to Daytona Beach. From Orlando you take I-4 East to Daytona Beach to see the place that brings bike week (roughly the last week of February through the first week of March) to life. Besides being a living museum of pop culture, Daytona Beach has long played an important role in car culture and you might want to check out the massive racetrack. Overnight in St. Augustine.
Day 2: St. Augustine - Tallahassee. Today you leave the coast and head inland. Pick up Highway 16 and go all the way to Lake City. Take Hwy 247 until you hit US 27, which will take you all the way into Tallahassee. You are in the Florida Panhandle now, an area that has much more in common with the states of the Deep South than with the rest of Florida. You overnight in Tallahassee.
Day 3: Tallahassee - Orlando. From Tallahassee you head south – take Hwy 19/98 and ride down Florida’s west coast, which embraces all extremes. Buzzing, youthful towns rise behind placid fishing hamlets, mobbed holiday strips are just minutes from desolate swamplands, and world-class art collections vie the glitzy theme parks. Upon arrival in Orlando it will be time to return your bike at our Orlando office.
