Day 1: Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport where our Royal African Discoveries representative will meet you and assist you with your private luxury transfer to the Sun City resort. Check into The Palace of the Lost City. Family accommodation options are: Family luxury rooms, Inter leading luxury rooms, 2-bedroom suites (King, Royal, African and Desert Suites).
Day 2: Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a full fun filled family day at the resort, a paradise for children and families with a huge variety of activities available, including:

Day 3: Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer from Sun City to the Madikwe Game Reserve (about 1.5 hours by road). Check into Jaci’s Safari Lodge, which has 2 exclusive family suites - the Nare Suite and the Safari Suite. Lunch is served at the lodge upon arrival. Late afternoon game drive. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 4: Early wakeup with coffee and snacks on the safari patio. Game drive with your personal ranger in a four-wheel drive open Land Rover. Return later in the morning for breakfast. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon/evening game drive. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 5: Early wakeup with coffee and snacks on the safari patio. Game drive with your personal ranger in a four-wheel drive open Land Rover. Return later in the morning for breakfast. Transfer to the local airstrip and take a scheduled charter flight back to Johannesburg International Airport (about a 1 hour flight). Upon arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to Gold Reef City for an afternoon of entertainment. This theme park is created around an authentic 19th Century Gold Mine and has an abundance of adventure rides, restaurants, history, sightseeing and tours. Transfer to the Michelangelo Towers in Sandton City and check in. Family accommodation options include:

Day 6: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to OR Tambo International for flight to George Airport in the Western Cape. Day 8: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer on an exciting journey over the Outeniqua Pass into the semi-desert Little Karoo and the ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn. Places to visit:

- Visit the Cango Caves
- Cango Wildlife Ranch.
Day 9: Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Knysna for Cape Town. Lunch in Mossel Bay. Visit the world-wide known Post Office Tree and Maritime Museum. Arrive in Cape Town in the afternoon and check into One&Only Cape Town. Family friendly accommodation options include:

Day 10: Breakfast at the hotel. Ascend Table Mountain (weather permitting). Return to the city through the Malay Quarter, past the Castle, and around Table Bay to Milnerton Lighthouse. Travel to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium for an exciting tour.
Day 11: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay and the dramatic views from Chapman’s Peak Drive. Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean. Ascend to the top by funicular. Drive through the historic naval base town of Simon’s Town and allow time for a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 12: Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Cape Town International Airport to connect with your onward flight.
