Day 2: Full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, including a cruise to Seal Island, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Lunch: Colona Castle. Dinner: at a Cape Town city restaurant. Stay: the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, Cape Town.
Day 3: Tour of Cape Town City and Table Mountain, the Malay Quarter, Table Bay, Milnerton Lighthouse, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Lunch: Signal Restaurant the Cape Grace Hotel or Sevruga at the V&A Waterfront. Dinner: At a Cape Town city restaurant. Stay: The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, Cape Town.
Day 4: Full day tour of the Cape Winelands – Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Lunch: Picnic at Boschendal Wine Estate. Dinner: Bosman’s Restaurant. Stay: Grande Roche, Paarl.
Day 5: Full day of wine-tasting. Lunch: Local wine estate. Dinner: the Tasting Room at Le Quartier Français, Franschhoek. Stay: Grand Roche, Paarl.
Day 6: Depart along Route 62 to the Klein Karoo and enrol in the African Relish Recreational Cooking School for a 2-night cooking course. Lunch: Mimosa Lodge, Montagu. Dinner: Dennehof Guest House. Stay: Dennehof Karoo Guest House, Prince Albert’s oldest homestead.
Day 7: Stay: Dennehof Guest House. Lunch: African Relish. Dinner: Welcome dinner at the chef’s table.
Day 8: Transfer to the coast and drive to Knysna. Stay: our hotel. Lunch: Zachary’s Restaurant at Pezula. Dinner: At a recommended restaurant in Knysna.
Day 9: Full day Gourmet Safari. Breakfast: Ile de pain. Savour the best that Knysna’s fine restaurants have to offer, a two hour experience including Sirocco, Lush and Del Gusto. Lunch: Zachary’s followed by a tour of the chef’s organic gardens. Tea: Belvidere Manor. Dinner: At a recommended restaurant in Knysna. Stay: our hotel.
Day 10: Breakfast at Pezula then transfer to George Airport to connect with your onward flight.
