Day 1: Arrival to San Salvador. Transfer from the International Airport of Comalapa to San Salvador City, about 39 kms and 35 minutes away. Upon arrival, a representative from our company will welcome and assist you. (optional Night tour: visit the area restaurants and nightlife of San Salvador).
Day 2: Suchitoto. After breakfast, transfer to the beautiful city of “Suchitoto”, meaning "Place of Birds and Flowers”, in Nahuatl. The city of Suchitoto offers the essence of the old colonial architecture. Visit its beautiful cobbled streets, art galleries, the Ruins’ Theater, the House of Crafts and the Santa Lucia Church, built in 1853, one of the main attractions of the city for its architecture and its historical significance. Then visit the Lake Suchitlán, a 135 square kms artificial lake with the largest area of water in the country. Back to San Salvador. (Disco optional tour: visit the area of bars and clubs of San Salvador: Zona Rosa, La Gran Via and Multiplaza).
Day 3: The Flowers Route. After breakfast, departure to "The Flowers Tour." Visit the colonial cities with beautiful mountain vegetation: Juayúa, Nahuizalco, Apaneca and Ataco. Lunch at Apaneca and the picturesque village of artisans Ataco to see the elaboration of local looms and handicrafts, and shop at the local traditional stores. The Flowers Route is one of the most popular tourist paths and it is named for its abundance of flowers on the scenic road. Is the area with coffee plantations and from where the highest quality coffee is exported all over the world. Back to San Salvador. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.
Day 4: Visit the main streets of San Salvador, the main residential areas of the Capital, the Historical Center (The Metropolitan Cathedral, The National Palace and the National Theatre), the United States Embassy (one of the largest embassies in the world), the Chapel of The Divine Providence (where Monseñor Romero was assassinated), the Saviour of the World Plaza, the Masferrer Plaza, the Presidential. House, the main shopping centers in El Salvador and Malls: Mall Galerias Escalón, Centro Comercial La Gran Via and Multiplaza. Visit MUNA (Museum of Anthropology). In the afternoon visit to the park area “Planes de Renderos” and “La Puerta del Diablo” (The Devil’s Door), with its handicraft shops and, of course, restaurants to enjoy one of El Salvador's most popular and exquisite national dish ¨Las Pupusas”. Back to the Hotel. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.
Day 5: Boquerón - Santa Ana. Visit the imposing Volcano of San Salvador, the crater known as Boquerón. Enjoy a refreshing ecotouristic walk trough the nature and trails. Then go to the Black Sea, an area covered by lava, now volcanic rock, thrown out by el Boquerón . Later, transfer to the Pompeii of America, the archaeological site Joya de Cerén, World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. Joya de Cerén was covered by the explosion of the Loma Caldera volcano. This explosion allowed to keep the remains of the pre-Hispanic civilization for hundreds of years. Later visit the "Ruinas de San Andrés," free lunch in the city of Santa Ana and panoramic tour of the historic center of the city: the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Ana and the City Theater. Back to the city of San Salvador. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.
Day 6: Beach Day – Hotel Las Hojas Resort. After breakfast and check out, visit the nacional handicrat market of San Salvador to do the last shoppings of the trip. Later, transfer to the beach resort “Las Hojas Resort”. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful Salvadorean beaches, take a massage at the edge of the sea or taste a delicious salvadorean cocktail while enjoying the wind of the Pacific Coast.
Day 7: Beach Day – Hotel Las Hojas Resort. Free day to relax on the beautiful beaches of El Salvador.
Day 8: Transfer to the Airport. Four hours before the flight departure, transfer to El Salvador International Airport Comalapa. It was a pleasure to serve you! We hope we have the opportunity to attend you again! Have a nice trip! End of our services.
