Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Tashkent. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Welcome dinner at a national Uzbek restaurant. Day 2: Tashkent. Today we visit the historic part of Tashkent. There we shall see Kukeldash Madrassah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and Barak Khan Madrassah. Then we shall explore old Chor-Su bazaar; circus show, taste traditional foods, watch craftsmen at work, bargain for souvenirs. Mustakillik Square (Independence Square), Museum of Natural History, National Puppet Theatre, Halklar Dustligi Square (Friendship Square), Alisher Navoi Park and Lake. Day 3: Tashkent - Samarkand. Breakfast. Drive to Samarkand. Stop near Amur Temur "Gate" where two mountain ranges meet. Lunch in local restaurant. Accommodation at hotel. Sightseeing tour: Enormous Registan Square (Square of Festivals). In Ulugbek medreseh try on costumes from the time of Temurids. View panorama of Samarkand from the highest point of the city. Dinner in hotel restaurant. Day 4: Samarkand. Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in Samarkand: Visit medieval architectural monuments: Guri Emir Mausoleum (XV c.), Ishrat Khana Mausoleum, Bibi Khanum Mosque. Visit local Samarkand bazaar. Lunch. Shahi Zinda necropolis, “Stars above Samarkand” - Ulugbek's Observatory (XVc.), Mazar of Daniel. Dinner at traditional family home. Day 5: Samarkand. Breakfast. Ismail Al Bukhari, Khodja Ahror Complex, Jewish Quarter and Synagogue. Free time. Dinner and Wedding Show in Sherdor Medreseh. Day 6: Samarkand - Shakhrisabz. Breakfast. Drive to Shakhrisabz. Accommodation at hotel. Sightseeing tour: Ak -Sarai Palace (XIV-XV c.), Kok - Gumbaz Mosque (XVc.), Dorus-Siadat, Djekhangir Mausoleum (XIVc.), Timur’s Vault (XV c.). Dinner in hotel restaurant. Day 7: Shakhrisabz - Bukhara. Breakfast. Drive to Bukhara through the desert. Stop at Bahauddin Nakshband Sufism Center. Arrival in Bukhara. Accommodation at hotel. Walk to Labi Khaus, the heart of legendary Bukhara city. Ride a camel! Dinner at the National House. Day 8: Bukhara. Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in Bukhara: Visit Ismael Samani Mausoleum (IX-X c.), Chor-Minor, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII, XIV, XVI c.), Bukhara local bazaar. Puppet Theatre, Ark Fortress ( I c.) and Bolo-Hauz Complex (XVIII c). Lunch. Poi-Kalon Ensemble including Minaret Kalyan (XII c.), Mosque (XVc.) and functioning Medreseh Miri Arab (XVI c), Taqi (Trading domes), Ulug Beg Medreseh (XV c.), Lyab-i-Hauz Complex (XVII c.), Nadir Divan Begi (XVII c.) Khanaka and pond:enjoy Chai-Khana, stock nesting in the mulberry trees, feed the ducks. Magoki Attari (XVI c.). Dinner in Medreseh Nodir Divan Begi with Folklore show. Day 9: Bukhara. Breakfast. Visit the museum of Ibn Sino ( famous philosopher and the father of medicine, author of Al-Canon in Medicine). Visit traditional houses of Bukharan people in the villages and experience life in the village. Lunch. Visit Sitorai Mohi-Khossa (Palace of the Moon and Stars). Dinner at the hotel. Day 10: Bukhara - Urgench (Khiva). Early Breakfast. Drive to Khiva through Kizilkum desert, which was the main silk road connected East with West, stop at the yurts. Picnic in local Chaykhana (tea-house). Photo opportunity near Amu Darya (Oxus River). Dinner. Day 11: Urgench - Khiva. Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in fairy-tale city Khiva: Kunya Ark Fortress (XVII c.), including Kurinish Khana (XVII-XIX c), Mohammed-Amin-Khan Medreseh (XIX c.), Islam Khodja Minaret; Mohammed Rakim Khan Complex (XIX c.), Amir-Tur Medreseh, Sho-I-Kalandar Bobo Mausoleum. Lunch in a local restaurant. Learn to make traditional bread (non). Sightseeing in Khiva: Uch Avlioli Mausoleum (Three Saints), Juma ( Friday) Mosque with 200 wooden pillars (XI-XII c.), Pakhlavan Mahmoud Mausoleum, Tash Hauli Palace (Stone yard), Alla-Kuli-Khan Medreseh (XVIII c.).
