Day 1: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Depart on a scenic drive past Mount Longonot across the floor of The Great Rift Valley to the the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. It is perhaps the only reserve left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as they were a century ago. You will witness the annual migration that takes place when millions of zebras, wildebeests and gazelles cross the plains in search of rich new grasses of the Mara from Serengeti. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. After a brief rest enjoy afternoon game drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Dinner and overnight Mara Sopa Lodge or similar. Full day in the Masai Mara with early morning and afternoon game drives in search of the 'big five'. It is home to the thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest, awesome king of the jungle-lion, stately giraffes, herds of elephants and other numerous plains game. Take a step back in time by making a visit to a traditional Maasai Manyatta and experience the culture and traditions of this world famous community. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 3: Departure. After breakfast, bid good bye to the ever imposing Masai Mara with a silent sigh.
