The Safari Camps are small and exclusive, specially designed to have minimum impact with no permanent structures. They are all set in private sanctuaries closely with the local communities.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport –Nairobi
Met on arrival of your flight by a Trip Africa representative.Transfer to Nairobi, Kenya’s colorful capital city to your hotel. Cosmopolitan Nairobi boasts of numerous restaurants with all manner of ethnic and European cuisine available. This afternoon you make a visit to the various Museums –Karen Blixen museum for an Out of Africa feel , the National museum or just relax and acclimatize with your new surroundings. Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club.
Day 2: Amboseli/ Selankay Conservancy
After a leisurely breakfast drive southwards to one of Kenya's most visited game parks, Amboseli situated at the foothills of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at the Camp in time for lunch. After a brief rest away from the scotching sun and an afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Take a game drive in the conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Return to camp for dinner and overnight Amboseli Porini Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Amboseli National Park/Selankay Conservancy
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch for a full morning of game viewing. After a well deserved drive, return to the Camp in the afternoon. In the evening enjoy game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sun downer at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive. Look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Dinner and overnight Porini Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Amboseli – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Early breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for flight at approx 0945hrs to Wilson, connecting onto the 1020 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 1240hrs. ON arrival you are met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the expansive Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. After lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off for game trek to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return at sunset to relieve days experience under canvas.Dinner and overnight Porini Rhino Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Full day in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking activities. All Meals and overnight stay Porini Rhino Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Ol Pejeta –Maasai Mara
After a leisurely breakfast, depart Porini Rhino Camp to the Nanyuki airstrip for scheduled flight at approx 0945hrs across the Great Rift valley to Mara arriving approx 1100hrs. Met on arrival by camp driver and transferred to Porini Lion Camp. Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea the in camp. Proceed for a game drive or escorted walk followed by a sundowner and night drive with spotlight. Dinner and overnight Porini Lion Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 7: Maasai Mara. After breakfast proceed for a full day in the Maasai Mara National Park with picnic lunch in one of the secluded spots. Return late afternoon for dinner and overnight Porini Lion Camp. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Enjoy your last early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Bid good bye to the Mara with a silent sigh, and make a wish. Transfer to the airstrip for your morning flight at approx 1100hrs back to Nairobi at 12.15hrs. On arrival transfer you are transferred to your city hotel or proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward connections. End of services.
