A short way past the gate; lion, Rhino and a good variety of plains game can all be found within the wide plains down towards the hippo pools in the south eastern end of the park. Buffaloes graze in the shade of the forest, families of cheetah may be found lazing in the sun, and depending on the season, there is a great variety of plains game and birds to watch as you drive along. At the hippo pool you will find the playful verve monkeys and visit the where the hippos' eyes and ears keep watch on the visitors. Return to the hotel after the game drive.
