Visit to the Costers del Siurana Winery in Gratallops. This was one of the first wineries to be established in El Priorat at the beginning of the regions wine producing transformation in 1989. They produce the highly regarded Clos de l’Obac red, the Miserere red, Kyrie white, and Dolç de l’Obac dessert wine. A very personalized visit including full wine tasting. Welcome lunch at Catacurian, accompanied by DOC Priorat/DO Montsant wines.
Olive oil tasting presentation given in the Catacurian wine-tasting room by a technician from the DO Siurana Olive Oil Consortium. Truly some of Spains best olive oils! A 2 to 3 hour hands-on Catalan cooking class given by your host and chef, Alicia. Cava and aperitifs served during the class, add to the enjoyment!. You will learn the most important basics of what makes this cuisine so delicious and original.
A three course dinner consisting of the dishes you have just prepared. This is accompanied by DOC Priorat/DO Montsant wines, and is served in an elegant yet casual setting. Accommodation in an elegant and well appointed double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. A full breakfast the following morning and return to Barcelona.
