From the heart of Auckland, through the stellar west coast, to the gentle warm breeze of sunny Southland...this will be much more than a honeymoon...it's a wonderful new beggining.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Auckland. Arrive in Auckland, NZ & check into your suite in the heart of the city. Dine at sunset overlooking the city from the top of Sky Tower or choose from one of our local favourites.
Day 2: Auckland - Coromandel. Collect your rental car & drive to the stunning Coromandel Peninsula. Soak in the hot pools of Hot Water Beach. Overnight accommodation near the beach.
Day 3: Coromandel - Rotorua. Head inland to the geothermal city of Rotorua. Get pampered from head-to-toe at a unique thermal spa, where you'll indulge in Maori massage, relaxing sulphur mud baths and a tour of the geothermal reserve. This evening you’re off to a Maori "hangi" (earth oven meal) & show to experience traditional Maori culture, dance & food! Return to your suite for the night.
Day 4: Rotorua. Sleep in & enjoy a Kiwi breakfast in your suite. Drive to the marina for your 3hr. luxury cruise of Lake Tarawera! Explore the infamous Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland. Overnight in your suite.
Day 5: Rotorua - Wellington. Flight to Wellington. Join a Walking Gourmet Tour of Wellington then overnight in your suite.
Day 6: Wellington - Abel Tasman. Start your day with breakfast in bed! Ferry transfer to Picton in the South Island, where you’ll pick up your rental car & drive to stunning Abel Tasman Nat’l Park. Overnight in your suite.
Day 7: Abel Tasman National Park. Water taxi to a private bay for a picnic lunch & bubbly. Leisurely hike back to your suite for a night of R & R.
Day 8: Abel Tasman - Fox Glacier. Leisurely drive down the rugged west coast to Fox Glacier, where you’ll enjoy a stroll & tons of photo opportunities. Overnight in your suite.
Day 9: Fox Glacier-Cardrona Valley. Drive through the Southern Alps to your luxury B&B Homestead in Cardrona where you’ll stay for the night. Activities at your leisure (optional activities include: hiking, mountain biking, soaking in the jacuzzi, horseback riding). Enjoy a sumptuous 3-course meal prepared by your homestead hosts.
Day 10: Cardrona Valley - Queenstown. Picnic on a Peak– helicopter flight for a private picnic atop a mountain! Evening at leisure & overnight stay in your suite.
Day 11: Queenstown. Stroll through beautiful Lake Wakatipu Park. Your chauffeur will collect you for your private vineyard & cellar door tour via private limo. Evening free & overnight in your suite.
Day 12: Queenstown—Milford Sound. Make your way down to Fiordland National Park, where you’ll board your overnight cruise through Milford Sound!
Day 13: Milford Sound—Te Anau. Journey to a secluded National Lake for a private picnic, then overnight in your suite.
Day 14: Milford Sound– Christchurch. Drop rental car & fly to Christchurch. Go “Punting on the Avon” followed by a gourmet meal on the Tramway. Overnight in your suite.
Day 15: Christchurch—U.S.. Day at your leisure then farewell New Zealand!
