Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Our representative will meet and assist upon arrival to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman. Our group coordinator will assist through all costumes and immigration procedures, passport formalities and Visa handling, followed by privet transfer to Amman (33 km from airport) for check-in & O/N hotel Amman.
Day 2: Deaprture at 8:00am.Full buffet breakfast in the hotel departure for a full day tour to Geraza, visit the splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city of Jerash, the most complete remaining city of the Decapolis. It is also known as the Pompeii of the east. The history of Jerash is a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient. Indeed, the name of the city itself reflects this interaction. The earliest Arab/Semitic inhabitants, who lived in the area during the pre-classical period of the first Millennium BC named their village Garshu. The Romans later Hellenised the former Arabic name of Garshu into Gerasa, and the Bible refers to "the region of the Gerasenes" (Mark 5:1; Luke 8:26). At the end of the 19th century, the Arab and Circassian inhabitants of the small rural settlement transformed the Roman Gerasa into the Arabic Jerash.
Drive through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the City of Ajloun dominated by the imposing fortress of Qa'lat Al Rabat overlooking the Jordan Valley. It was from this location that the forces of Saladin launched their successful campaigns against the Crusaders, next drive North of Jordan to Umm Qais dating back to 2nd century AD, colonnaded streets, amphitheaters, churches, temples and the vast Roman forum. Viewing the North of Jordan and the Golan Heights and Tayberias Lake from 1500 M above Sea level. Afterwards continuo driving down through Jordan Valley (or the Great Syrian African Rift) Cleaves the length of the country, and forms a natural boundary to the west it is actually part of the Great Rift valley, which carves a passage further southwards through East Africa driving along the Yarmok River of Jordan among the Fruit basket of Jordan, the most green part of the country to Amman for Dinner and O/N.
Day 3: A full Buffet breakfast in the hotel. 8:30 am check-out for full day excursion. Trip in the way visit Mount Nebo (20 min drive) from the Dead Sea, tour of the site of the Tomb of Moses. from here Where Moses viewed the promised Land in Canaan, and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th c. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic. Afterwards to Madaba this town has a long history, being first mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town, visit St. George orthodox Christian church the mosaic Map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel & Egypt.
Madaba is famous as a land of mosaics followed by transfer via Kings’ Highway one of the oldest roads in Jordan, spectacular drive through wadi Al wala a tributary of the Mojib and which lower down is named Wadi el Heidan to Dhiban the site attracted the attention of scholars when the Moabite stone, an inscribed stele set up by Mesha, king of Moab about 835 B.C., Dhiban was captured from the Moabites by Sihon king of the Amorites. Next transfer via Wadi Al Mujib or the king’s highway to Kerak, Guided tour to Karak Castle (one of the finest examples of Crusader military construction, its walls are strengthened with rectangular projecting towers, long stone vaulted galleries lit only by narrow slits, and a deep moat from the west which completely isolates the site after the visit of the Castle, continuo driving via the desert highway to reach Petra, Upon arrival a welcome drink.
Day 4: A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 am departure from hotel to Petra visitor centre. On arrival to visitor center begin a most memorable day with a horseback ride through to the SIQ of Petra (Canyon) followed by guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury, the accompanying bilingual guides give a brief history of Petra, followed by Full day to explore (the Rose-Red city) including the Siq, the Treasury, city centre, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasah and the Roman Soldier Tombs. Afternoon Walk back to hotel for freshen-up in hotel followed by dinner and O/N.
Day 5: A Full buffet Breakfast at the hotel, check-out of the hotel, followed by transfer to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Here you will find adventure and feel the romance of the Arabian desert Wadi Rum is like a moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of white and pink colored sands. Upon arrival to Wadi Rum, a 2hrs jeep tour to explore Lawrence Road, visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum. We will view sand dunes, graffiti, visit Bedouins tents, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis. Exploring the most interesting and exiting sites of Wadi, followed by transfers to AQABA. Check-in and dinner O/N AQABA.
Day 6: A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning in Aqaba for Swimming and relaxation at the read sea beach. Dinner and O/N Aqaba.
Day 7: A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning in Aqaba for Swimming and relaxation at the read sea beach, dinner and O/N Aqaba.
Day 8: A full Buffet Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to QAIA Amman for Departure.
