Drive to the magnificent Bay of Islands. Participate in a Dolphin swim and cruise to the Hole in the Rock. Overnight in our partner accommodation in Paihia. Day 3: Paihia - Waitangi - Russell - Paihia. Visit the birthplace of NZ at Waitangi. Do a tour & witness a traditional Maori Cultural Performance. Later, take the ferry across to the attractive waterfront town of Russell — New Zealand’s oldest town. Overnight in our partner accommodation in Paihia. Day 4: Paihia. Free day to explore the beauty of this area, or just relax on the beach! Overnight in our partner accommodation in Paihia. Day 5: Paihia—Cape Reinga—Ahipara. Visit Cape Reinga at the top of the north where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet. Stroll along magnificent 90 Mile Beach. Overnight in our partner accommodation in Ahipara. Day 6: Ahipara—Hokianga. Explore the mountainous golden sand dunes at Ahipara where you have the opportunity to go sand surfing, quad biking along the beach, or sand yachting (own expense). This evening be treated to a "Footprints Waipoua" Twilight Encounter tour at Waipoua Kauri Forest. This is a truly remarkable experience! Overnight in our partner accommodation in Hokianga. Day 7: Hokianga—Auckland. Spend your last day at leisure. We recommend stopping at the Kauri & Pioneer Museum at Matakohe, or sightseeing around Auckland.
