Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Auckland-Christchurch-Kaikoura. * Arrive in Auckland, NZ and transfer to your domestic flight to Christchurch, gateway to the spectacular South Island. Collect your rental vehicle and drive north to the seaside town of Kaikoura, famous for whale watching. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Kaikoura (4.5 star accommodation).

Day 2: Kaikoura-Hanmer Springs. This morning take the famous Kaikoura Whale Watch cruise to spot whales and other rare sea mammals. After lunch, make your way inland to Hanmer Springs and relax in the natural thermal pools there. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Hanmer (4.5 star accommodation).

Day 3: Hanmer-Franz Josef Glacier. Drive through the Southern Alps to the wild West Coast. Take a 1/2 day guided glacier hike in Franz Josef Glacier. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Franz Josef (4.5 star accommodation)

Day 4: Franz Josef Glacier. Drive south to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Spend the afternoon at leisure in one of the world's most beautiful locations. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Queenstown (4.5 star accommodation, Includes:(B))

Day 5: Queenstown-Doubtful Sound (Fiordland). This morning drive to the township of Manapouri to meet your boat to take you to the remote, unspoilt & spectacular Doubtful Sound where you will take an overnight cruise on a small, intimate vessel. Includes: (L), (D), (B).

Day 6: Doubtful Sound-Queenstown. Meander your way back to Queenstown. This afternoon take a short helicopter ride to the top of the Remarkables Mountain range for spectacular views. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Queenstown (4.5 star accommodation, Includes:(B))

Day 7: Queenstown. Morning at leisure - optional activities include: jetboat tour, skydive, bungy, horse riding. Private limousine winery & vineyard tour. Overnight at our partner accommodation in Queenstown (4.5 star accommodation, Includes:(B))

Day 8: Queenstown-Home. Transfer to Queenstown airport & depart New Zealand (via Auckland and/or Christchurch).
