Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met and transferred to a hotel for overnight. Overnight: Jacaranda hotel or similar. Includes: (HB).
Day 2: Amboseli National Park. Breakfast in the hotel. Check out and drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its Big game and the views of snow-capped mountain Kilimanjaro. Arrive in good time for lunch and an optional siesta. Spend the afternoon viewing the wildlife in the backdrop of majestic mountain Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest Mountain. Amboseli is particularly renown for its large herds of elephants, spotted hyenas among others. Return to your lodge as the sun sets! Overnight: Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park. Spend the morning and afternoon game viewing which includes a visit to the Observation Hill. This park has plenty of wildlife and easily visible along the swampy areas of the park. Optional visit to the Masai village is available. Overnight: Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park. Check out of the lodge after breakfast and journey to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi for lunch at Flame Tree Restaurant. Proceed on arriving in good time for an afternoon game drive to watch flamingos and other antelopes. The rare and often elusive leopard can be sighted on a lucky day. You will check into your lodge after sunset. Overnight: Lake Nakuru lodge or similar.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Check out with your picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Naivasha for a 1 hour boat trip to watch the hippos and fresh water birds of the lake. Enjoy your picnic lunch en route at Narok town, and then proceed on to Mara. You will enjoy your afternoon game drive till sun sets! Overnight: Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve. Spend full day game drive exploring the best of Masai Mara and in search of the hunters Big Five. You are sure to see plains game such as grants, gazelle, zebra and plenty of wildebeest. Overnight: Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Nairobi. Rise early this morning for one last game drive before breakfast. Late journey back to Nairobi with a stopover at the escarpment to view the Rift-valley and a photo session. You will arrive in good time for lunch at the world renown Carnivore Restaurant and later transferred to Hotel Intercontinental. Overnight: Hotel Intercontinental or similar.
Day 8: Nairobi. Depart after breakfast for a half day excursion tour of Nairobi. Enjoy the tour to Giraffe center for an opportunity to feed Daisy, the giraffe and the National Museum. Later your guide will take you around the various shopping stores for the last minute bargain of your favorite carving. You will be dropped to the airport after dinner at the world famous Norfolk hotel.
