Day 1: Arrival. Private transfer from your flight with private guide to explain about the this cosmopolitan city during your trip into the city. An itinerary will be presented to you upon arrival with all your pre-booked information and also important contact numbers whilst you are in Buenos Aires. Overnight 4 nights in Buenos Aires in your selected hotel.
Day 2: Private Half Day City & Cafe Tortoni`s. This morning you will be picked up by one of our hand selected guides to take you on an orientation of this great city. Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires, view the National Congress, The Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Goverment House in may square area. Admire the Colon Theater, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, traditional neighborhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants.
Stop at La Boca colorful neighborhood, which was, seat of immigrants - manly Italians - and now home of some artists. Finally, La Recoleta, an exclusive and elegant neighborhood where the famous cemetery is found and visit Eva Peron`s tomb. Although it may seem unusual, fashionable restaurants, bars, cafes, discos and a cinema complex also surround the area. This private tour also includes a stop at the famous Tortoni`s for a coffee/tea and/or cake (at own expense) before heading back to your hotel.
Day 3 (or alternative selected day): Your choice of a special experience:

Day 4: Day of Leisure. Today relax or select another tour to do when you are in Buenos Aires. A perfect opportunity to do some shopping however most shop are open until 8pm - even later in some places
Day 5: Buenos Aires to Salta. Free time in the morning and in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your 2 hours flight to Salta. Upon arrival in the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in time to freshen up and make your way out for dinner in one of Salta`s great restuarants. If you thought the Malbec in Mendoza was great, wait to you try the local Malbec from Salta. Overnight 2 nights in Salta in your selected hotel.
Day 6: Afternoon and Night Tour of Salta. Reception and transfer from Salta Airport to the hotel. City Tour in Salta. Ascent of Cerro San Bernardo. We will visit the Cathedral, the Church of San Francisco, the Town Hall and the Historic Museum of the North, the craft market and the San Bernardo Hill. The Church of San Francisco is a magnificent Franciscan temple with fine architecture ornaments. The Town Hall was built in different periods, but has a predominant Baroque style. Looms and silver objects can be bought at the handicraft market. Beautiful Salta turns on its lights when the night falls. Each corner renovates its charm when the Moon is out. The main square, its Balcarce Street and the magic of the casino. The night is an invitation.
Day 7: Salta to La Quiaca. Today you will be be transfered to the bus station in Salta for a morning departure to La Quiaca, which is the Argentine Border town with Bolivia. The journey is extremely scenic as the bus rises to the altiplanico to which La Quiaca is situated. The time for this journey is 6 to hours depending on traffic and police control points. Overnight 1 night at Munay Hotel including daily breakfast.
Day 8: La Quiaca to Uyuni. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and morning in the quaint town of La Quiaca. Take an early lunch and leave the hotel no later than 1pm as you must cross the boarder of Argentina to the Bolivian border town of Villazon. You will be booked on the 15.30 hours Bolvian Rail Expreso de Sur in 1st Class. Refreshments and dinner may be purchased on board at own expense. This is a really fun and scenic journey to Uyuni and you will be scheduled to arrive 23.50 hrs. A driver will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. Overnight 2 nights at Los Girasoles Hotel including breakfast.
Day 9: Uyuni. Today is a full day on the Salt Plains with your private guide and driver, there are two main highlights:
- Colchani: This town is known as Puerto Seco or “Dry Port”, and is the main portal of access to the whole region. It is also located 22 miles from Uyuni and lies at the brink of salt mines from which salt is extracted daily. Visitors can see here rustic homes made with adobe or salt blocks and covered with roofs of straw. These components have been proven to be excellent natural building materials, useful for retaining heat, a matter of great importance when facing the freezing temperatures in the area. Straw is abundant throughout the vicinity, making it easy to graze llamas, vicuñas and other mammals.
- Isla Incahuasi: Located in the center of the salt plain with a formation of rocks with calcareous remains of corals and seashells populated cactus with heights up to 7m. From here is you will be able to take some amazing pictures of the surroundings by taking a small easy trek.
Day 10: Uyuni to La Paz. In the early hours at 1am you will be collected by your driver from the hotel and transferred to the Uyuni Station. This evening travel on the Wara Wara del Sue 1st Class for an overnight journey to Oruro. From the station, make your way to the bus station where we will have you booked on a bus to Cochabamba. Upon arrival into either city you will be met at the bus station and transferred to your hotel of choice. Overnight 2 nights in your selected hotel in La Paz.
Day 11: Full Day Tiwanaku, Witch Doctors, Moon Valley & La Paz City. Tiwanaku is an important Pre-Columbian archaeological site in Bolivia. Tiwanaku is recognized by Andean scholars as one of the most important precursors to the Inca Empire, flourishing as the ritual and administrative capital of a major state power for approximately five hundred years. The ruins of the ancient city state are approximately 72 km (44 miles) west of La Paz, Bolivia. The site of Tiwanaku was founded in approximately 200 BC as a small agriculturally-based village, with a number of similar neighbors. The high altitude Titicaca Basin required the development of a distinctive farming technique known as "raised-field" agriculture, which are only found in today`s South America as experimental, government-funded projects.
In the afternoon, before arriving back into the La Paz basin you will visit a typical Indian market, the famous Witch Doctor’s market and the San Francisco Colonial Church. The tour continues to the Plaza Murillo, where the cathedral, the Government Palace and the National congress buildings are located. Then, we will visit the famous colonial street “Calle Jaén” where interesting museum are clustered together, followed by the visit to the open-air museum from the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery, the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with the visit to the unique Moon Valley, place where the erosion has caused stony forms that giving the sensation to be in a real lunar landscape before bneing dropped back at your hotel.
Day 12: La Paz to Santiago. A private airport representative will meet you at the airport with your name on a board. They will have a copy of your detailed itinerary and very important local contact numbers. They will introduce you to your driver for your private transfer and answer any immediate questions you have regarding your stay in Santiago. Overnight 3 nights in your selected hotel in Santiago.
Day 13: Private Half Day Historical City & Sights. This morning you will be picked up by one of our hand selected guides to take you on an orientation of this great city for 4 hours. If you have any special interests be sure to let us know at time of booking. Any entrance fees must be paid for locally.
Day 14: Full Day Vina del Mar & Valpariso. Valparaiso is a port and World Heritage city, whose origins date back to 1536. Beside this, it is the seat of the legislative power. Valparaiso has the picturesque magic with its funiculars, beaches and colorful neighborhoods on its 45 hills, and beaches, unfolding unique and unforgettable landscapes. Today`s tour visits La Sebastiana; house museum of the poet and literature Nobel prize, Pablo Neruda. Then, it continues to Vina del Mar standing out the architecture of its palaces and streets. Finally, return to Santiago visiting Faba to observe elaborated pieces made in Lapislazuli, a precious only found in Chile and Afghanistan
Day 15: Departure Transfer. Enjoy your last day in Santiago. On you last day we will arrange for your private transfer in plenty of time for your departure from the airport - most longhaul flights normally leave in the afternoon of evening.
