Day 1: Arrive in Vilnius (Lithuania). Welcome meeting at the hotel with tour guide. Overnight in Vilnius.
Day 2: Trakai Island Castle & Kaunas (Lithuania). After breakfast a guided tour of Vilnius Old Town. Afternoon trip to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. After visit to the 14thC island castle built on a small island in Lake Galvė start your first cycle ride through picturesque countryside on gentle hills, then transfer by coach to Kaunas. Arrive in Kaunas, check-in and optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Kaunas (Cycle ~26 km., bus ~95 km).
Day 3: Along the Nemunas River to Klaipėda (Lithuania). Morning transfer along the Nemunas River to the coast. En route passing 16th-17th C castles of Raudonė and Panemunė. In the afternoon cycling to Ventė Horn famous for its bird observatory and the 19thC lighthouse which was used for more than 100 years. After a short bus transfer arrive in Klaipeda, the main seaport of Lithuania, check-in at the hotel and dinner in local restaurant (included). Overnight in Klaipėda (Cycle ~25 km., bus ~240 km, by boat ~14 km).
Day 4: The Curonian Spit National Park (Lithuania). Take a morning boat across the Curonian Lagoon to Nida en-route enjoying the beautiful view of the Curonian Spit sand dunes which separate the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. Sightseeing around Nida, one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania. Then cycling on the Seaside Cycle Route along the Curonian Spit famous for its amber and fine sand beaches. En route to Klaipėda stop at the “Dead” sand dunes and go swimming in the Baltic Sea. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Klaipėda (Cycle ~ 55 km, boat ~50 km).
Day 5: Klaipeda to Palanga by bike then drive to Riga (Lithuania - Latvia). Early morning ride to Palanga through the Seaside Regional Park, a former soviet military training area. Arrive in Palanga, the biggest Lithuanian seaside resort for a tour which includes a visit to the Botanical Garden and the Amber Museum in the Palace of Count Tyszkiewicz, with over 25000 pieces of amber and 15000 insects on display. Afternoon transfer to Riga (Latvia). En-route stop at the Hill of Crosses, the unforgettable sight of thousands of crosses on two small hills. Continue to Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Arrive in Riga, check-in and dinner at the hotel (included) (Cycle ~30 km, bus ~290 km).
Day 6: Riga & Jurmala Beach (Latvia). After breakfast a guided tour of Riga Old Town, a medieval Hanseatic town famous for its Art Nouveau buildings. In the afternoon free time in Riga or cycling to Jurmala, the largest resort in the Baltic States well known for its long, white, sand beaches, mineral waters and mud with healing properties. Transfer back by coach to the hotel in Riga. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Riga (Cycle ~30 km, bus ~20 km).
Day 7: Gauja National Park & Bicycle Museum (Latvia). Morning transfer to Sigulda, the most popular resort in Latvia, in the Gauja River Valley. Cycling through Gauja National Park to Saulkrasti, en route enjoy spectacular views of Gauja River valley with Gutmana Cave, visit Turaida Castle and the oldest Latvian Church, Krimulda, built in 1205. Finish the ride with a visit to the Latvian bicycle museum followed by a transfer to Riga. Optional dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Riga (Cycle ~40 km, bus ~100 km).
Day 8: Along the Baltic Coast to Haapsalu (Latvia - Estonia). Morning transfer to the Estonian border where the cycling begins, travel on picturesque roads along the Baltic Sea Coast. Transfer to Haapsalu with a stop in Pärnu, the Estonian “Summer Capital”. Arrive in Haapsalu famous for its Bishop’s Castle, healing mud baths and the longest railway station in Estonia built to accommodate the arrival of the Russian royal family’s train in the 19thC. Day 9: Hiiumaa Island. Early morning transfer to Rohuküla to catch a ferry to the beautiful Estonian island of Hiiumaa known as a nature lovers’ paradise. Take a cycle ride along the Baltic coast; en route explore several famous lighthouses – from Tahkuna and Ristna designed by French architect Eiffel to Kopu lighthouse, one of the oldest still operating lighthouses in the world (1531). Day 10: Kassari Island & Tallinn. Enjoy a morning ride across Hiiumaa island’s wild beauty before crossing a road bridge onto Kassari. In keeping with local tradition, add your stone to the tip of Sääretirp before the final ride. After visiting a local family wool factory transfer by coach back to the ferry going to the mainland. In the afternoon arrive in Tallinn, check-in at the hotel followed by a guided tour of Tallinn Old Town. Optional dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Tallinn (cycling ~25 km, by coach ~125 km, by ferry 22 km).
Day 11: Tour ends in Tallinn. Breakfast at the hotel. End of the tour.
