Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Tel Aviv/ Cairo. You will be transferred to airport in the morning, and fly to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo airport in early afternoon, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza. Balance of the day is at leisure. Includes: (D). Day 2: Cairo. Full day tour will include the Egyptian Museum, Ben Ezra Synagogue built on the site where Moses was found by Pharaoh’s daughter and it is also here that the Genizah documents were found. San Serguis Church which is the traditional site where Jesus was sheltered during the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt. This is the area called Babylon-in-Egypt, where a sizeable Jewish community was founded by prophet Jeremiah after the destruction of Jerusalem in 585 B.C. which continued to exist when the Holy Family visited Egypt. And then visit the Hanging Church, which was the seat of the Coptic Patriarch for 6 centuries and the Citadel, the most important mosque in Cairo. Stop at the Kahn el-Khalili Bazaars before returning to the hotel. Includes: (B), (D). Day 3: Cairo/ Home. After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport for departure.
