Day 1: Rome/ Florence
Depart at 7:30 a.m. from hotel by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Upon arrival, have some time at leisure to visit this little medieval city. Recommended are the visits to the famous San Francesco’s Basilica, where you will find Giotto’s and Cimabue’s masterpieces. In the afternoon, drive via the “Autostrada del Sole” and arrive at Siena. This Gothic city is constructed o three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This monumental and medieval city is encircled by its ancient walls and is famous for its splendid square “Piazza del Campo”designed in the shape of a shell. Here, every year the famous “Palio” takes places. See also the elegant Palace and the Cathedral. Continue to Florence. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Florence
Breakfast at hotel. Morning city tour will feature the Dome by Brunelleschi, its Bell Tower by Giotto and its Baptistery. The tour continues through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and finally the church of Santa Croce. Time at leisure and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 3: Florence/ Pisa/ Padua/ Venice
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for an excursion to Pisa. This quiet and graceful town shows signs of its past and its greatness through the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as the “Square of Miracles” where we find the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower and the Baptistery. After the visit, depart for Padua for a short visit of St. Anthony’s Basilica. Continue to Venice, the city of gondolas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4: Venice
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, tour this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges. The sightseeing includes St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace (external). During the morning, the group will stop in one of the famous shops of Murano glass. Afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Venice/ San Marino/ Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for San Marino, one of the smallest states in the world. It still has its own currency, stamps and preserves its political system since over 9 centuries ago. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to Rome. Upon arrival, you have option to fly to your next destination or stay overnight (optional). Includes: (B).
