Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Home/ Shanghai. Leave your hometown for Shanghai.
Day 2: Shanghai. Welcome to China! Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Shanghai. Today’s touring features Yu Garden, New Shanghai Museum, and the Bund. You will have time to shop at famous Nanjing Street near the Bund. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Shanghai/ Zhouzhouang/ Suzhou. This morning you drive to Zhouzhouang, a quiet and charming town with waterways crisscrossing the town where you see the village by boat. You continue driving to Suzhou, famous for its many beautiful gardens, waterways and beautiful women. You will have some free time to explore on your own before checking into your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Suzhou/ Hangzhou. Your morning tour of Suzhou includes the famous Garden of Humble Administrator, Tiger Hill and the Silk Museum. This afternoon you drive to Hangzhou, check in at your hotel enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Hangzhou/ Shaoxing/ Ningbo. This morning, you visit Lingyin Temple before driving to Shaoxing, a city of 500 bridges and the birthplace of China’s fi rst great novelist Lu Xun. Visit Lu Xun’s former home, the East Lake and Lanting Pavilion. After lunch, you drive to Ningbo, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 7: Ningbo/ Hangzhou. Ningbo is where the 7000 year old Hemudu Culture originated. Visit Tianyi Pavilion, the Library and King Asoka Temple. You return to Hangzhou and visit the magnificent West Lak before checking in to your hotel. This evening, dinner is on your own. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 8: Hangzhou/ Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). This morning, you travel to Yixian to visit the Xidi and Hongcun villages which are both UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. The villages are over 800 years old and more than 200 ancient residential houses have been well preserved with the original architecture. Continue to Huangshan Scenic Area before checking in to your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Huangshan. This morning, you take a cable car to the summit of Huangshan to enjoy indescribable scenery and visit famous scenic spots like Cloud-Dispelling Pavilion and Magic-and-Fascinating Scenic Area. You stay overnight at the top of the mountain in a 4-star hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Huangshan/ Xian. Enjoy a Huangshan sunrise before going down the mountain by cable car after breakfast. Return to Hangzhou to catch your fl ight to Xian. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Xian. Full day tour features the Terra Cotta Warriors, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and the ancient City Wall from the Tang Dynasty. You will be treated to an Imperial Dumpling Banquet this evening. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Xian/ Beijing. This morning, you fl y to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. After an afternoon visit to the Temple of Heaven you will be free to grab dinner on your own this evening. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 13: Beijing. Today features an excursion to the Great Wall and Ming tomb. Enjoy the Beijing Opera this evening. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Beijing. Today you visit Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. This evening, you are treated to an authentic Beijing Duck dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 15: Beijing. Today is free for you to enjoy shopping or to visit places of your own interest. Includes: (B).
Day 16: Beijing/ Home. Depart for home or your next destination. Includes: (B).
