Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Home – Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be taken to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Today features an excursion to the Great Wall and Ming tomb. Tonight, enjoy an amazing Acrobatic Show. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Beijing. Today you visit Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. Tonight you depart for Lhasa aboard the new Beijing-Lhasa train in a sleeper cabin. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: En Route (on train). The train ride continues as you enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Dining car is open for all your meals (which you must buy on your own). Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Lhasa. Upon arrival in the evening, your local guide will take you to your hotel.
Day 7: Lhasa. Today’s touring features Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Bajian Street and Norbu Linka. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Lhasa/ Gyantse/ Shigatse. You leave Lhasa this morning and visit Yang Zhuo Yong Lake, Snow Mountain and Baiju Temple before you check in to your hotel in Shigatse. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Shigatse/ Lhasa. This morning, you visit magnificent Tashilumpo Monastery and the colorful local market before returning to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Lhasa/ Kathmandu. This morning, you fl y to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel. After lunch, you see Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square, Temple of the Living Goddess, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Shiv-Parvati Temple and Swayambhunath Stupa. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Kathmandu. This morning, you visit the ancient city of Patan (‘City of Beauty and Fine Art’) which is filled with exotic pagodas, intricate gateways, and endless carvings. After lunch, visit Bhadgaon (‘City of Devotees’) which was constructed in the shape of a conch shell – an object of religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Kathmandu/ Chitwan. Drive to Chitwan and check in at the hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Chitwan. Morning and evening jungle safari in the Chitwan Nat’l Park. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Chitwan/ Kathmandu. Drive back to Kathmandu and check in to the hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 15: Kathmandu/ Home. Depart for home or your next destination. Includes: (B).
